My family member lodged March 2009, would hate to delay the possibility of PR by even a day after nearly 3 years waiting, if by re-lodging meds etc. early it tipped the scales in your favour. I totally sympathise, I was just making the point that if you have been totally messed about through no fault of your own, should the magic day arrive that you get a CO then don't waste another day if possible waiting for PR. you don't want your application to go to the bottom of another pile while waiting to re-do your meds etc. Hope you hear some good news. Can anybody please let me know the reason of different case officer being allocated to me? Is this because of my application is under internal/external checking or what? I have already inquired about this from my new case officer already. Applied: 25 August 2011 (E-visa) Case officer: 7 September 2011 Waiting since then for medical and PCC. please remember I am from high risk country. Regards, IZA Different case officer has nothing to do with Internal Checks. Reason for change in Case officer could be anything but not necessarily Internal Checks !! So Change in Case officer is not due to Internal Checks or vice versa. Best thing is email to your new case officer and tel him that you are waiting for so long and have already submitted all the documents long time back and you are now desperate to know about the delay in decision. Thanks in advance Cat4er. I would ask your lawyer to apply for a PC or do it yourself and provide it to yor lawyer. Medicals are booked within 3 days afer you call them, I would wait with that, but there is nothing to stop you from applying for Police C.
