jason d 82
Mate you could write those big paras here but couldn't update with the update lol..well congrats mate..long time coming lol had a lot of things to settle with my agent a word of advice for all of 886 who use an immigration agent prepare your sponsor documentation up-to-date, because the agent would request it regardless the official letter from your case officer does not state that, fair enough i guess...the agent probably taking a precaution. for example, i was using my brother who studied full-time for sponsorship, and the agent require an official letter of enrollement from the uni to confirm my brother's study, that alone could take 2 weeks for the uni to settle and deliver the letter to your agent. another friend who uses her aunt whose a housewife was only required a proof of address and possibly certified PR label on the passport from the looks of it, it might be case by case scenario based on your sponsor condition at the time of your application. Cheers, am happy for you. Really Sekena. Fine words from someone who has contributed what, exactly, to the forum? Anyway, Gagan you are an absolute superstar. Below has just been copied and pasted from the DIAC website...... "The planning level for the Skilled Regional Sponsored (formerly known as Skilled Australian Sponsored (Family sponsored)) GSM category of the 2012-13 Migration Program has been increased, and allocation of Skilled Regional Sponsored (SRS) is resuming. This category is for applicants who have been sponsored by an eligible relative. SRS visas include: Skilled Sponsored subclass 176 Skilled Regional Sponsored subclass 475....." Not much longer now folks. Cheers, Kazzarazza

Sekena
Hi Folks, Some people on this forum are living like a frog in the well, anyway only they can help themselves. To the remainder of my friends, please look at the bigger picture, for instance if you go on other blogs like 'EOI Submitted Clubs' or 'PG3 blogs' you will notice that there are close to a thousand applications being submitted in the mentioned categories per week. At this rate with 10 weeks to go before the close of this program year, we can only expect to see a spike in applications. This only means that PG-5 is going to get pushed back to July & even then we will need to wait for the allocation to happen. So realistically based on past trends the processing will start only in August-2013 in date of lodgement order. Now don't forget that there is a federal election in September'13, god knows what will happen to processing when that happens. I recall back in late 2007 - Early 2008 during the time I was applying, Chris Evans succeeded Kevin Andrews & during the build up to the election in Nov 2007 & up to few months after the election, there was absolutely no movement on processing. So there's that side of the story & finally I don't intend to scare you, but there is the option of CAP & CEASE..something similar to what the Canadian Immigration did in 2012 to get rid of the backlog. So please don't set expectations based on what you see on these forums. I am in same boat with all you folks for the last 5 years, so I completely understand that everyone is looking for a light at the end of the tunnel. It's there and you will see it sooner or later. Good Luck....

If an original document is required you will receive a specific request to provide it. If you are submitting documents in response to an information request letter from your case officer, please ensure that you have ALL the required documentation before communicating with us.
