Guest
I was asked for 12 months worth of bank statements but I have shown bank statements for a couple of the months a throughout the year of 2013/14/15 and recent 16 all showing same address. If they were asking for 12 consecutive months worth of bank statements, provide them. You are claiming de facto for at least the year prior to lodging and have to be able to prove this to the level that will meet their requirements. If you have said you were de facto before this, say for 2 years, you should also provide some evidence to show this too ideally. But those 12 months prior to lodging, which is the minimum de facto timeframe they will consider is crucial.

I am just providing what my agent is asking for!! She asked for more statements for 2015 a little while ago to show we are still in the relationship and at the same address, which I provided. I am waiting to hear back from agent today - she knows my situation so hopefully she can have some solutions. [emoji52]

If its 12 solid months of bank statements putting you at the same address as your partner, its a bit of a no brainer to not use them, least to me. I submitted one piece of evidence for each month for that year prior to lodging regardless of the fact we had already been married some years and had a child together. I still needed to cover that year. Something putting us both at the same address for each month. Not just the odd month here and there.
Keep me in oz
I just heard from my case officer and have somehow forgotten to (or they missed it) upload my police clearance. I uploaded it now within like an hour of getting the email, any ideas what happens now and how long it might take to get finalised?

I uploaded it now within like an hour of getting the email, any ideas what happens now and how long it might take to get finalised? I didn't get notified when I uploaded my police clearance, it's just a case of waiting now. I'm hoping to receive an email to say I've got my visa granted this month since it's been 7 months. Nemesis
You know, it would now probably have been quicker for my husband and I to have sat it out in different countries after our marriage until we had been married for three years, and then applied for the visa. We would have got his PR straight away. Instead we stupidly applied after getting married, April 2013, got the Temp visa, hung around for the 2 years, and have now been waiting 9 months since submitting all the PR paperwork - with no sign of a PR grant and estimates being bandied around that he still may have another 10 months to wait. On the point of giving up and going home as he keeps getting rejected for jobs due to having no PR. ---------------------------- For anyone applying now, the PR grants are stuck in a queue behind all the onshore applicants who came here to apply after the price increase. SandyBlueMountains
I didn't get notified when I uploaded my police clearance, it's just a case of waiting now. I'm hoping to receive an email to say I've got my visa granted this month since it's been 7 months. Ours took about 2 months from the date our police check and medical were uploaded. Nemesis
So after the 2 years you had to send more paperwork and now you've been waiting 9 months for it to be granted? Jesus, I didn't know it would be that lengthy. I thought if you've got enough evidence after 2 years you'd get the permanent visa granted straight away. Spoke to an agent today who confirmed that the 100 PR (second stage) is now likely to take well over a year and maybe even two. We have shedloads of evidence, thats not the problem. The problem is being at the back of the queue. Because of the price rise for applying offshore many people have come on tourist visas and applied onshore and DIBP cannot cope with the demand. Apparently they are considering sending some of the applications back to London for processing as there aren't enough staff here. And anyone on 309 waiting for 100 comes AFTER anyone in the queue waiting for an onshore 820. We are now reassessing whether we can stay here in eternal hope of getting a grant one day or whether we should go home. My husband has already booked a ticket to go back and start looking for permanent jobs in the UK. He would get a good salary, I would get pretty much the minimum wage if I went back. He is thoroughly disillusioned with Australia and to be honest I wonder whether our marriage will survive.

tracy8099
Hi everyone. We were asked to submit 4 extra pieces of evidence. The UK police check, the Medical, form 80 and a South African police clearance. We have done the first 3 bits and uploaded them all but we are still waiting for the SA police to come back. The deadline to submit these has passed this week. If any of you have missed a deadline, how did you notify the dept? I have used the online form to let them know but you get no confirmation of this and have had no response. I phoned them today and the person I spoke to said firstly that the CO had looked at our file yesterday and noted that there was no UK police check done (it is definitely uploaded to immi - I checked) and said to reply to the original email I got from the case officer requesting the evidence. I have done that and got an automated response saying that this email was for submitting documents only?!?! Should I do anything else???? tracy8099
What section do you upload your UK police certificate under? I'm wondering if I've put it under the wrong heading.

bobby122
Thanks for the thought, but three years after applying for the Temp Spouse, to be told we probably still have over a year to go.......the word SOON is no longer in my vocabulary. Without me searching back lots of pages, what is all this about? I've just been granted 309, but applied December 2014. I was expecting 100 (so PR) by this coming December. Is this not the case? The way I've read all the info, seems to me that you can get the 100 two years after original lodgement date, so I would think the same as you think... The Raillys
Hi @tracy8099 - thanks for updating this! just to add to the table in case it's of use to anyone else: we got our subclass 100 visa around the 17th Jan, our case officer's first initial was L and we applied without an agent. Just to let you know for the chart we are 309/
