Thank you to this group for keeping me sane (ish) during this awful year, Especially @Kathss56 ( your turn very soon) Don’t know if others are aware that when you pay via Bpay you don’t need to increase personal daily limit to pay. The receiving business sets the limit, I didn’t know this until I contacted Westpac to increase my daily limit Great news! Whereabouts are you heading? I think the housing market is pretty buoyant at the moment. Perth seems to be the chosen place for all today's lucky people - let's hope the rest of the states will be as welcoming!

We were there for quite some time on 600 visa and then had to leave our rental, dog, new granddaughter and the rest of our family as time ran out on our 600 visa.... and then there has been the COVID delays. Been away almost a year and just need to get back as soon as!

Been renting for a year or two so just need to pack up things here. Will hopefully try to go out begining of February. One last Xmas in the UK!!

KathyN
Hi everyone, I haven't been active in the forum but have been watching everyone's progress closely. I am a dependant applicant in my parents' 143 application (my sister is the sponsor). Our visa acknowledgement date is 4 March 2016. Our AOS was approved in March 2020 and we submitted further documents for my dependancy in early June 2020, and have been waiting for 2nd VAC request ever since. My parents are currently offshore while I am in Brisbane, studying my Master. My 23rd birthday is fast approaching, so it has been quite stressful waiting for THAT email. Hopefully we will hear something soon. Thank you everyone for keeping us posted. Edited November 12, 2020 by KathyN Typo

Due to the visa applied before November 2016 I don't think there is any age restriction for dependent, you should be ok as long as you are a full-time student at the time of decision. My situation is tougher, my brother is finishing university this December and he doesn't want to study any more... all stuffed up!

MajHam
Woohoo......visas granted! I can’t update the tracker. Perhaps someone could do that for me? The very best of luck to everyone waiting. I really really hope things are starting to move. The stress is unbearable at times and as the department tell you nothing this forum has been the only way to find out what’s going on. Thanks to everyone on here. 1

LBee
Today we received a request for payment of 2nd VAC - a roller coaster of emotions - lots of happy tears - it’s been a long four and a half years - when we applied it said 12-18 months - we are just thrilled 1
KathyN
How absolutely thrilled for you! @LBee My family often joke about how we must be some of the few people who would actually be happy when we are asked to pay such significant amount of money
