    WELL! they have stuck to their word and started issuing parent visas to those onshore as from today. Got my grant this morning after 5yrs 5days! Good luck to the others waiting, as at least we know now they saved us a place !

    @143mag just keep emailing, they will be busier doing some onshore visa grants mid March so get in quick with the emails

    @143mag yes I know how you feel, we all do. Sadly they probably won’t contact until they are ready to ask for 2nd vac. They will then let you know about new checks etc. Keep holding on! You ARE nearly there!

    I was mid March 16. I supplied all info by end of Feb 20 beg Mar 20. 2nd vac request Nov 20.paid 2nd vac mid Jan 21 I’m onshore and as we now have the concession of not having to fly out to activate they have extended police check by 3 mths and medical by 6mths. I would email again about 5-6 weeks before checks expire asking if you need new HAP ID for medical. You use the same number I believe but it might get you a reply!! Maybe when they have granted our visas which is supposed to be from 24 Mar they will know how many places are left for this financial year.(they probably already know!) It might move a bit then Good luck!

    Was about to post his also. It does mention enquiry into long delays. The Greens are also lobbying for this! Even if they only increase the numbers each year from this, it will be a start!
