I don't believe this list - why? because Perth is not on it!! If it's based on a bottle of beer, then Perth has to rank close to number 1 - most places are $7-$10 per bottle which is more expensive than Oslo surely??

Granted Perth is bloody expensive for a pint but I was in Melbourne recently and the prices were just the same. Wasn't any cheaper than Perth!

I'm glad you said that because I go over to visit my daughters in Brisbane and they come over to me regularly and we don't notice any difference. Mind you I'm more of a wine drinker.

Never been to Brissie but Melbourne ain't cheap! Maybe a few years ago but not now. Was in Adelaide recently. That was a couple of bucks cheaper per pint.. Nice city too! I could live there

Am I the only one confused by this list? I don't think theres many places in the north of England you could get a beer for £1.72 never mind London. Its a few years since I was in Oslo but it was about £10 a pint, I know exchange rates will have changed but I'm sure not by that much.

More interesting is the lowest price you'll pay.

In Lanzhou (sp?) in 2006 we paid 2 yuan each for a 500 ml bottle. It worked out less than 20p.

Damn, 2006 is a long time ago, it feels like yesterday!

Yep had a weekend in Prague going back 13 years ago, worked out about 30p a pint I think I spent £50 for the whole weekend food drink and taxi's !
