Some good news to share I hope, had a CO appointed yesterday after approx 11weeks, couple of questions asked but at least it's moving! I'm hoping its not gonna be much longer.

 

will keep you informed, that's the first movement for me in a long time, so hopefully it's starting to speed up for everyone.

Actually I have been applied a visa 417 in May and done the medical, shall I need to do the medical again?

Hi no I shouldn't think so have u brought it to you're case officers attention that you have already done the medical back in may? If not definatly do, if you have and they said you need to do it again which is strange then you have no other option than to do so! Seems very strange though! Good luck!

No, I didn't contact my case officer but I have contacted with my Migration agent and I was replied with the following mail

I have been required to provide the adequate health insurance, I read the post that BUPA is ok for the case. I have a membership card of BUPA which cover overseas health insurance. Is it ok to provide the membership card to CO or any other things else? Please advise.

It's a letter you need to send to them so do you have a letter? If the visa is for u and your family they need a letter with all you're names on or if the visa is just for you and the membership card has your name on scan the card and email it as an attachment back to them and say is this enough or do I need to take out other health insurance. Some good news for u, this is the last thing my partner was asked for he provided it and the next day he has his visa grant so fingers crossed once you have supplied this you will have your grant! Congrats!!!

Same situation here as Jazzcrave.:swoon::swoon::swoon:I have emailed with the lawyer three days before, they also suggest me to wait rather than contact the CO for the update.

 

 

I got my application submitted on 28/6/2013 for the 457 (to Perth), medical (xray screeening) done on 8/7 and result finalized on 9/7. After that, no further updated received. (they told me i got a CO , but the status of my application just up to the " Further medical results received "

 

 

It gonna be the 8th weeks:arghh::arghh::arghh:, my wife and me also start struggling now.
