  5. Hi Pavy, ask your MA for the contact details, he must have them if he is aware that a CO was appointed. If he doesn't have them how does he now they were appointed? Then send an email to your CO, nicely ask if he can give you an update. Hope that helps.
  6. Pavy, ricballi is correct, if processed further is showing you have a CO, and will only make contact if something is required.
  7. Hi guys, my visa was approved last week after 13 weeks for nom and 12 weeks for visa, just about ran side by side. So I would say that the new time scale is 10 to 12 weeks, however sometimes it seems some are still getting them through in 6 weeks. good luck guys!
  8. Thanks Super, as soon as the nomination came through the visa followed 3 days later. I did get the sponsoring company to put a call in which did make a difference. Good luck!
  9. Hi guys, We move to the northern suburbs on the 22 oct with our 5 year old son, from Ireland, originally from UK. This might be a good time for us to meet new people. Where about? thanks
  10. Hi Pavy, i would say it won't be long, keeping my fingers crossed. I leave on 21st October, booked flights on Monday. It just suddenly comes through and you think oh my god I can't believe it. :biglaugh:
  11. Hi Everyone, My Visa came to day after 12 weeks, fly out 22nd October, never thought I would get one! Good Luck! The feeling you get when you see that email is great!
  12. Hi Guys, Just checked no more news yet, hopefully this week! Stay positive it will happen.
  13. Hi Pavy, Hope your well and everyone else. My Nomination got approved to day, not my visa yet but after 11 weeks its a start, I assume the visa wont be far behind as they went in at the same time?
  14. Hi Pavy, No its not, the Nomination and the Application are running side by side, the C/O is asking me questions and the Nom company questions which have been answered in the last couple of days so hopefully will find out soon. Fed up of the wait! If we get the visa we will go within two and a Half weeks, no point in hanging around.:skeptical:
  15. No not yet, they are waiting for some info of my Nom employer, very hard waiting around, cant move on!
  16. Hi Super, Sarah is right, they will probably want written confirmation, I used Medibank they were quick and good. Good Luck Any news lads!
  17. Hi pavy, sorry for late reply first chance I've had to get near a computer, but no news yet. Things seem to happen on Mondays and Tuesdays, it needs to move on or run the risk of losing my sponsor!
  18. Hi Guys, Some good news to share I hope, had a CO appointed yesterday after approx 11weeks, couple of questions asked but at least it's moving! I'm hoping its not gonna be much longer. will keep you informed, that's the first movement for me in a long time, so hopefully it's starting to speed up for everyone. Good Luck!
  19. Hi Pavy, mine went in on 11th July, just got case officer yesterday, you can ask your nomination company to chase for you, but it will be difficult for you until you get a case officer as you won't have a direct email. you can email immigration but you will probably get the standard reply back, but hey give it a go!!!!
  20. Hi ricballi and pavy, We are all roughly on the same timeline between 9 and 11 weeks so surely one of us should get some good news soon! I have been watching this thread since my 4th week, seems a very long time. Where are you guys going? im hopefully off to Perth. Anyway, better go and check my status always come on here first! Good luck keep talking!!!
  21. Hi Hurlos, My companie did not. They are already a sponsored employer and did their own Nom, and I did my Visa. I think some agents a good especially if you are trying for P.R. as for 457, not sure. An agent cant really speed things up, but can ensure your paper work is correct in the beginning, that's my view. Good Luck!
  22. Hi Kim, My Nomination went in on 2/07/13 and visa app on 11/07/13 so been about 11 weeks for the Nom and 10 weeks for the app. However their is some movement this morning as a request for more info has come up so I am assuming that at least someone is looking at it:biggrin: A CO can been appointed and you may not now, it could just come through as granted, all the time scales are different. Anyway good luck! I find the waiting very difficult.
  23. Hi Sarah, I feel for you, but hopefully with the new government in it might be quicker! Hope you hear soon.
  24. Hi, Thanks for sharing your timeline, its nice to hear about good news, especially as your time line is about a weeks difference, hopefully I will hear next week or two as mine went in on 2/07/13. Thanks and good luck!
  25. Hi Pavy, My timeline is same as yours, apart from mine went in on the 2/07/2013
