    Hi all! We had an email asking for our police checks and medicals this morning [emoji16] relieved to finally hear something from them. We're getting those sorted now. The only thing I feel I could add more detail too is references regarding my employment history. Can anyone tell me how much detail their employers put into their letters? For example did they just say 'x worked for y from (date) to (date) employed as (xxx)' or did the letter go into a lot of detail about the job you did?     We haven't even been assigned a co yet I'm getting slightly worried by this! I feel like we should have had some contact by now. We're going to book our medicals and do police checks now and hope we can go for a direct grant.     I can't believe they are saying they don't have a copy for you! That's really poor on their side. We completed ours in the same year and got it fine so they really don't have an excuse. Can you ask them to write you a letter stating this? Or ask AITSL what you can do? Sorry I don't have an answer but I would really get on the unis case, they should hold general copies at least.     Ok! Family of 4 (2 adults 2 young kids) Brisbane or surrounding area but flexible with that as no job currently sorted (answers another question).     So...the million dollar question (hopefully not literally) How much did it actually cost you to emigrate to Australia?! What would you advise someone who said to you, "we'd really like to emigrate to Australia" they would need for the process of getting out there? Sent from my iPhone using PomsinOz

Couple of questions-am I right in thinking you front loaded you Police checks and medicals? If so what is the date they've given you for last entry?     Can I just ask if you did the form 80? Also, did you get letters from past employers detailing your employment or did you just use payslips etc as proof. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using PomsinOz
