An independent Scotland doesn't mean they would be eligible as an EU member. I believe France already said they would veto scotland joining.. The vote is final and the majority won. now a petition has begun for another referendum. It makes everyones vote worthless when this an happen.

My written discourse scored only 55 but must have done well in other areas but don't know how it's calculated. I scored 84 for writing. Third time lucky

Put my EOI in on the 21st of this month. Got an invite 5 hours later. Was very happy :-)

hey yeah Pearson test of English (PTE). It's a lot less stress than IELTS. I only scored 10 points on IELTs and don't think I could have hit 20. Worth a go if you need the 20.

Applying under electrician (general).. I emailed my agent my English results so we could get an EOI in. She replied saying the next invites were my tomorrow ( I'm in New Zealand so awkward for me to get time zones correct ) so might be able to get an invite but who knows ..5 hours later she sends another email with the attachment of the invite.. I was expecting A fair few weeks wait to be honest.. Such a big step in such a short time

Well I recieved my Pearson results todsy. 20 points. Lodged EOI . 5 hours later Invited for 189, I mean whaaaaaaaaaaat ?

I have just recieved my scores. L 90. S 90 R 85 W 84.. I'm absolutely made up and wish you guys all the luck in the world as I know it's a nerve racking wait. Time for the EOI :-)

Call them every day after work on Skype just because it's ridiculous. It's frustrating because I'm in New Zealand at the moment and the only call centre open is in India so it's like getting blood out of a stone.. I recieved an email stating it was still unavailable on Saturday. One of the reasons I chose it was because they advertised a 5 business day turn around time..ahhhhhhhhh

I still haven't recieved my score. Took it on the 9th June. Frustrating

I'm voting out too.. you are right about the older generation voting in and the younger voting out.. I guess growing up to poorly paid jobs and missing out to other Europeans has got too many people's backs up.

Does anyone know what changes are to be implemented 1st July. I hear a lot about points test changes but no info on what this could be ? Any ideas that you have heard through the grapevine

you mention your lack of work experience this is where you will get an unsatisfactory skills assessment.. Did you complete an apprenticeship ?, get yourself a WHV before it's too late as I'd say you don't meet the criteria for a 189 just yet. Getting a positive skills assessment can be tricky even for guys who have been in the trade for years as they want to know everything and see documents. I was asked to show 2 years minimum post apprenticeship so 6 years before they would look at me.. Possibly talk to a registered agent

Poor people.. I hope the families will get the information they need to be able to come to terms with their losses
