  2. White card is equivalent to a cscs card just allows you on site nothing else.. When you get your skills assessed in the uk he will be issued with an OTSR ( offshore technical skills record ) that entitles him to a provisional license when you finally arrive in Australia.. Then as you mention WA require 1 year gap training followed by a capstone exam ( regs course ) I'm not sure if you can rush the gap training to be honest be interesting to find out

  4. Its not valid yet Chinese electricians do not have to sit skills assessments and have upwards of 70,000 deaths in the construction industry per year. Something wrong there !
  5. Get a white card costs about 80-100 dollars.. Call around the labour hire companies can't see you having much trouble I never did although Sydney was too busy for me
  6. We have applied for 190 NT.. Having spent over a year of our working holiday there with good references and people we know there I'm hoping we don't get it pulled away.. We actually want to live there for at least 5 years
  7. The 60 days is to make payment and apply for the visa once you've been invited..you'd have One year from when the medical or police check was completed. People tend to leave it until they are asked for them by the DIBP to give them as near to a full year to enter but they can be front loaded with the application as soon as you wish. But do not over run the year mark otherwise they will have to be re done

  12. I wouldnt go unless you have £5000 minimum.. you say you want to work straight away but its going to take you a week to get over jet lag and how ever long it takes to find work.. australia is an expensive place especially when you first arrive and seem to just be spend spend spend...
  13. Allt of people have bben more successful at a pearson test over an IELTS.. IELTS is very much examination conditions and can get the better of someone if they havent been subject too in a long time.. pearspn is an online test which in a booth...Might be worth looking up if you need 20 points

  15. They all do you just have to pay for it... we paid £40 with air new zealand for an extra 30kg.. i know other airlines go £ per kg tho and cost a fortune

  17. You need to speak to a registered agent who can advise you.. i dont see why a promotion would effect anything. Your still gaining valuable experience providing its within that area..cant help you with the experience question. I was asked to show 2 years post apprenticeship experience as an electrician but could be different for yourself

  21. You would need to show 2 years post apprenticeship experience as an electrician. Full apprenticeship will take from 3-4 years so say 5 years minimum

  23. Its saying you dont have enough experience I had to provide 2 years post apprenticeship minimum ( which was 6 years total ). This should have been known prior to an assessment and payment
