  1. Still a spring chicken at 42 mate IMO
  2. Try here, this person ren ren works in a bank and they only want 6 months work history and they think that a 70 year old is one of their best customers. http://www.pomsinoz.com/forum/moving-back-uk/164540-how-much-do-i-need-return-uk.html
  3. Sorry I have to book time from work, arrange a hire van and driver to follow me to the port (4 hours drive) etc. I need a little notice for these.
  4. Keep your chin up, it will sort itself out in the end:wink:
  5. I am still waiting to be contacted!! Can someone please find the import approval what I have paid for and give it back to me, I think I should use a different shipping company as it does not look like my car will be going this October does it.
  6. Iron Chief My Import approval should have been sent back to yourselves, I have sent you a PM with all my details on it.
  7. Id do it when instructed to, otherwise there would be no point in receiving instructions
  8. Did you find it useful? I didn't use anything and I did alright.
  9. Im not too sure with the sussex but I did have some I was certain were males but ended up females and visa versa, I should let you know I am not an expert on chicken Im just a hobbyist.
  10. You need to have been working at least 20 hours a week as a spark for 3 years, Im not sure if city & guild qualifications would be enough now.
  11. Looking good. Best get the budgie smugglers out.
  12. I dont think it is possible to sex them from pictures. When we had chicks I couldn't find out how to sex them we just waited until they showed signs of being male, ie crowing in the morning. If you are keeping them for the eggs the male's would make good eating or is letting them get older not an option.
  13. peter11, I think you can only take 1 car per visa, unless you and your OH both have visa's of course. You also need to be able to show that you have been able to use the car whenever you wanted in the past 12 months, if your OH doesn't have a full DL I cant see how she can do this. I may be wrong though!!
  14. My car was supposed to be on the boat this month so we could get it on the road in jan. I've only just found out Craig is in the Uk and he can't tell me if the import permit has been approved. Can someone from ILI contact me ASAP please
  15. How long would it take to get our car on the road in Perth from the date of shipping.
  16. The same for me I am not a sheet metal fabricator but it I had to describe how to do it on one of the papers, I cannot remember which one. With a little reading up it is not difficult.
  17. Bloody hell you were there for a long time, I was back up the M1 before lunch, the welders were still there when I left, the paper tray was bit of a joke TBH. Was it the Ozzy blokes who took yours at the college down London area?
  18. Yes they will assess you in sheet metal, you need to know how to work out cone development etc this is paper based. Then you will use workshop tools etc to make something simple form sheet metal. Also I had to do a MIG weld test, a MMA test and for additional points I also did TIG. You will also need to show you can use burning tackle to cut out a circle from a piece of plate steel. If you can do you job you will have no problem but I would not go for metal fabricator if you are only a welder.
  19. http://www.immi.gov.au/e_visa/check-progress.htm You need your TRN and password, or your passport number to log in dependant on which visa you have applied for.
  20. Never heard of one of those, not in the Uk anyhow. Maybe it's for keeping the water warm for a cupa.
  21. Any chance you will also pay for it, finding the house is not a problem.
  22. You need to reg the ski, you also need a licence to use the ski. Plenty of info online regarding the licence and you can start to learn what you need for the test. Its a bit more strict than the Uk where you just have to buy the ski and your off Im afraid.
  23. It all depends on how complex your case is and wether they need to ask you for further information, I wouldnt hold your breath unless you are a straight forward case. We waited around 6 months so dont worry about your time scale. Good luck though.
