I sent my australian and Uk police checks to my case office a day apart. Both had a colour photocopy and self address envelope included. My case office returned my Australian police check a week ago but i have not had my uk police check back. I know that my it was received as i sent it signed for! I dont want to pester my CO but worried that she hasnt been passed it prehaps?

True and they take full advantage as would i if it were available to me. Doesn't make it fair or equal but its the people who decide to provide this service not the ones who use it who. are in the wrong in my opinion.

Surely Aboriginals get this level of service or treatment because Australians government. still feel a sense of guilt? I have applied for a Australian subclass 309 and have medical and police checks in April but have been told i wll not get a decision. untill Aug/Sep. My husband has been offered 6months work in Auckland starting in April and was wondering if there would be any reason why i couldn't go to nz on a working holiday visa in the meantime?

My application for subclass 309 was lodge on the 31.12.12 i was advised by my case officer at the London office not to have my medical or police check till after 01.04.13 is this normal ? Also i had missed off a question on the application so i have completed, scanned and emailed should i expect a response ?

We have recently submitted my 309.application and i have realised i have only written my name on two of the four passport photos i had to include. Would they reject application because of this?

I am so confused in booklet 1 it states All documents you provide will need to be in the form of certifi ed copies as the department will not return to you most documents you submit with your application. However in booklet one it also says that certified copies of passport and birth cert but doesnt mention the other docs. I want to submit joint bank statement, household utility bills and marriage certificate. I have to get this done on Friday and cant seem to get through to the office in London for any support on this matter.

I am currently putting together my subclass 309 spouse visa. Do i need to get the copy of passports and household bills certified by a solicitor ? I have rang a few who will charge £5 per document but have asked if it requires a notary public ? Is there any other documents that a solicitor must certify for me? Thanks so much i have got myself in a panic!

Does anyone know if it will matter if evidence such as household bills are in one persons name if there is other evidence that the sponser lived there toosuch as a payslip or p60 IF the written statements from both confirm that one looked after household bills and finances?

The questions are numbers 45~50 on part E of form 40sp.

My Australian husband returned to Australia a few weeks ago and secured employment immediatley, so i want to get my spouse application in asap. I have two urgent questions! I have heard that the cost of the visa will be increased in January 2013? My husband is currently working on an Island and is provided with staff accomodation. When off the island, which is for 8 days a month he stays with family who live near the airport that he flys in/out of. Now for the visa form does my husband need to rent a property on the mainland? We are trying to avoid this as this will be a complete waste of money!! When/if my visa is granted we will find a unit together so it is something that suits us both. Any help would be VERY much appreciated!

I am looking at shippling some clothes, bedding, towels and some photo albums out next year. I reckon a large box would fit it all would the shipping company supply this? I am getting confused on how i should go about this! I would be shipping from Manchester most likely to QLD. When the items arrive at a port or airport does the shipping company sent them to your oz address or do you pick items up?
