1. They will be boilermakers/pipe fitters, trade certificate is something like MEM3xxxx. All over Australia is crying out for anyone with a trade TBH. I'm in WA but am leaving for Queensland (I'm a plater by trade but boilermaker here)
 2. If teaching is anything like most other profetions here, not much different but seem to work more!!
 3. My daughter back in rhe Uk has just turned 18 and she is now able to come and live with me and my wife, does anyone have experice of getting a child put onto. PR visa? We have been here 6 years now and are in the process of applying for citizenship Thanks in advance Chris
 4. Sorry I have to book time from work, arrange a hire van and driver to follow me to the port (4 hours drive) etc. I need a little notice for these.
 5. I am still waiting to be contacted!! Can someone please find the import approval what I have paid for and give it back to me, I think I should use a different shipping company as it does not look like my car will be going this October does it.
 6. Iron Chief My Import approval should have been sent back to yourselves, I have sent you a PM with all my details on it.
 7. peter11, I think you can only take 1 car per visa, unless you and your OH both have visa's of course. You also need to be able to show that you have been able to use the car whenever you wanted in the past 12 months, if your OH doesn't have a full DL I cant see how she can do this. I may be wrong though!!
 8. My car was supposed to be on the boat this month so we could get it on the road in jan. I've only just found out Craig is in the Uk and he can't tell me if the import permit has been approved. Can someone from ILI contact me ASAP please
 9. How long would it take to get our car on the road in Perth from the date of shipping.
 10. The same for me I am not a sheet metal fabricator but it I had to describe how to do it on one of the papers, I cannot remember which one. With a little reading up it is not difficult.
 11. Bloody hell you were there for a long time, I was back up the M1 before lunch, the welders were still there when I left, the paper tray was bit of a joke TBH. Was it the Ozzy blokes who took yours at the college down London area?
 12. Yes they will assess you in sheet metal, you need to know how to work out cone development etc this is paper based. Then you will use workshop tools etc to make something simple form sheet metal. Also I had to do a MIG weld test, a MMA test and for additional points I also did TIG. You will also need to show you can use burning tackle to cut out a circle from a piece of plate steel. If you can do you job you will have no problem but I would not go for metal fabricator if you are only a welder.
 13. I did the Metal Fabricator Heavy Fabrication practical and it covered geometry and sheet metal work in the small test papers we did and we also did some simple sheet work, folding etc, I think the VETASSES website gave a description of what is expected in the interview. But not personally doing sheet metal I am unsure but if you wanted to do the metal fabricator t sounds like you could pass that as it was very easy.

Hi Bob,

Thank you for the call the other day, can I just ask.. I have had a quote from another company that as far as I can see has great reviews just as your company does, but they are doing more of the leg/paper work than I was quoted from you but they are £1000 cheeper.

Am I missing something here, the process seams quite straight forward and I would complete it all myself if it wasn't for the airlines not taking booking from people without an account with them. A £1000 is a lot of difference between prices, im sure you would agree.

 15. Ive been talking to Petair by email over the last couple of days and they do not fill me with any confidence TBH, in 4 separate emails I asked about my dog being collected and only when I asked the last time I was told "Oh sorry I didn't see that in your email" I have also stated my situation and not once has it been acknowledged or my questions answered. Sorry I only asked twice about collecting my pet, there were 4 emails exchanged.

I want to arrange to ship my volvo over to WA, we don't have a solid date to when we will be leaving for Oz as we are still waiting to sell our house, but I would like to get the ball rolling by applying for a import permit. We have a 176 permanent residency visa but reading the application to import under the permanent resident scheme it is asking for evidence which we don't have as we are still in the Uk and we won't be shipping any furniture out with us.

Could you give us a quote to handle everything for us or would you only be able to do so much.

Hi Louise,

We are going to Oz as soon as we sell the house, or if we cant were going to rent it out so hopefully before the end of the year, the sooner the better as far as Im concerned.

We’ve not decided exactly where to start so we thought we would rent something in Perth and have a holiday or a couple of weeks when we first arrive and get our bearings.

My email add is mr1chop@gmail.com if you want to keep in touch when we get there.
