  1. QUOTE=JK2510;1935995492]It starts all over again when you arrive... Oh no!! not more stress, hubby is so laid back and worries about nothing. My children are so excited and so are we, the adventures of it all makes it worth while. Looking forward to some nice warm weather too, its sooooooo!! cold in the UK now.
  2. Does anyone agree with me? The hard work, stress and tears into getting a visa is the beginning. The booking flights, shipping belongings, insurance and the biggest one, sorting the house out is more stress!!. It does not end here, then there is farewell parties with friends and family. Not enough hours in the day is a understatement, then there is cancelling bank accounts, bills and letting school know. BREATHE!!!! Is there anything I have missed, oh yes, :jiggy:Cant wait till I get on that plane. Flying heathrow-perth on 8th november via singapore. Whoo Whoo!! The stress is worth it !!!
  3. Thank you everyone for all the support this forum as given me. Everyone is so friendly and if I have needed advice or ideas, there as always been a answer on this forum. I will still keep looking on this forum and I wish everyone all the luck in world when you receive there Visas. It would be great if there was a get-together and meet up so many can make new friends as many of us will want to. We are heading to Perth, the peel suburbs. All the best Louise x

  7. Congratulations, yipee. Looks like 9th july referred meds prayers have been answered. Wow!!! We also have our Visa approved and med finalized today. Party Party time!!!!! Good luck to all who have been referred, hope is there and your visa will be with you shortly.
  8. Hi Pablo, I agree with you, I think July 9th is a unlucky day. There area few of us feferred on this date and no news for any of us. Its driving me crazy waiting as my hubby has been offered a job and they want him to start in nov. We need to book shipping now so it arrives in time for christmas as import slow right down in dec. Please please I would like some news this week, I wish DIAC would look at people that have been waiting so long but feel they just take from top of the pile. I emailed again today but no one gets back to me. :arghh:
  9. Hi Pablo, My daughter got referred also on 9th july, there seems to be quite a few of us that got referred on this date and still waiting!!!!! I am getting really annoyed now, I emailed my agent and she said she would contact DIAC and be in touch but no news. Going to email her again, its friday tonight. :arghh:
  10. Hiya, my daughters medical got referred on 9th july too and we are also still waiting. My agent emailed me this morning and said it is still in a queue, she has emailed DIAC to see what is happening so will let you know what she says. We are so impatient now, its like looking for gold at the end of a rainbow. I am going to say a prayer tonight. louise
  11. Hi Ali, yes halls head is lovely. I have not been but our friends sent us some dvds where they live and Mandurah and it looks fab. My hubby is a fabricator/welder or boilermaker in oz, I am a childminder. Our little ones are 6 and 3 so we could all meet up, have you any children? Am sure there is something similar in that job discription for you out there, we are renting our house in uk. We were going to sell but in-laws are helping us with finances so are able to rent (think they didnt want us turning up on there doorstep 5 years down the line if things go pear shaped) but we are determined to make it work. I am getting excited thinking about it all, will be real once them flights and container are booked. Louise :twitcy:
  12. We will be lucky as we already have friends in Halls head Mandurah to mingle with but they have there own circle of friends so we would like to find good friends too. If you want to , we could keep in touch and meet up. We are planning to arrive in oz in November so I can enrol the 6yr old at school before it closes in dec, really want ds to start school at the new school year. Also would like to enrol dd in kindy if there are any places as she will be 4yrs old when we arrive. My hubby is 99% sure of a job when we arrive too so that will help things, I am planning to take a year off and want to get level 4 (oz standard) in childcare so I can get a job in childcare, already have nvq level 3. Planning is hard work and my brain never shuts down, fingers crossed for next few weeks in hearing from DIAC. Louise
  13. Oh sorry, thought you were John. Lets start again, Put the shampers on for hubby and look at flights to keep you busy. Yes agree on the waiting game, its a nightmare. My hubby is so laid back so I do all the organising and he just agrees on what I say, so its me with all the stress. I cannot wait for the email to say visa granted, we are heading for perth, Mandaruh suberbs. Louise
  14. Hiya, dd had septis and e-coli as a baby (5 mths old) and was on medication for her kidneys for six months. She is okay now and no permanant damage or follow ups needed as she has had the all clear in 2009, she is 3yr old now. I took her hospital notes to medical centre to let them know and they attatched them to her forms so proberly being checked over with panal doc in oz. Shame you cannot shout from the rooftops with your news, gunna be hard keeping the news to yourself during the 6 week hols. What agent did you use if you dont mind saying, they were super to get it all done in 5 months. Again get that shampers on ice for when your wife gets home. W
  15. WOW! Congratulations on getting your Visa, super super news. We lodged on same date as you and all meds n pccs met except dd who meds have been referred, this is holding us up but waiting is all we can do. I check emails every morning and status but nothing yet, Iam not a patient lady at all. Have a fab day and celebrate because all the hard work as paid off.
