Approved air carrier for 2 cats

Hello everyone! I am planning to take 2 flights with my two lovely cats. I did some research and Stefanplast Gulliver Touring carrier looks like a decent choice. It can even be split in two parts to give some personal space for each cat. It seems to be very big though. https://www.stefanplast.it/en-us/products/pet/pet-carriers/gulliver-touring/gulliver-touring-cm-80/gulliver-touring-cm-80 Our vet said that cats feel safer in smaller spaces, so now I am a bit worried this carrier is slightly too big. Has anyone ever transported 2 cats in our carrier before ? What’s the best way to do it? Cats live together and get along well. Thank you all!

    IELTS Exam in 10 days!!!!

Hi all, I'm slightly panicking, I've been doing the practice tests on the iPad app for road to IELTS and l seem to be getting 30 out of 40 on the exam test sheets, which isn't bad l guess, BUT I think l need to get 35 out of 40 to be awarded the 8 points l need for each of the sections to get the full 20 points. Can someone correct me here if I'm wrong please? I am doing the academic paper, as we wish to go to Queensland and this is the one they ask for, l wish it was the general one as I'm sure it would be a whole lot easier. I'm feeling the pressure now as my family are relying on me to get us in! I'm a radiation Therapist, awaiting my skills assessment from AIR. This will hopefully give me 15 points, I'm 43 so another 15 points here & I've had 7 years experience in my role which gives 10 points, so I'm 20 short argh!!!! Please could anyone offer me any help and/or advise on having a positive experience and pass mark? Many thanks, Jules

    Air freight suggestions?

We have finally figured out what we will be sending back to ireland in a few months. The only thing is I cannot remember which company we used before,9yrs ago.We are going to use air freight for the speed and convenience and plan on sending about 6-8 boxes of kids toys, clothes etc.. If anyone has any suggestions on who to use and what kind of prices they charge I would really appreciate it.Thanks in advance,FF.
  8. Hi everyone, I am newish on here. This is my first post, anyone wanting help with Vetassess on the Air Conditioning practical, contact me and I will be glad to help having done and passed this in June 08:yesxmas:
  9. Hi there Anyone got any recent experience of air freight. We've asked DHL and Singapore Airlines so far and Singapre is cheaper at the moment but need to go back and understand exactly what you're paying for. Also have recent bad experience of DHL not delivering something in Oz so loathed to go there again. Any help gratefully received. We live relatively near Heathrow so could in theory take a box there but to be honest, we've so much else to do would rather it got picked up from home. Roughly how long does airfreight take? If we sent the box a week before us would that be too early? Can't believe we are still sending stuff after all the shippers took!! Thanks all! TNR

    Has anyone flown Air Asia?

We are hoping to go back and visit family in July next year but due to the Olympics prices are sky high. They are coming up reasonably for Air Asia but I don't know anyone who has flown with this airline or how comfortable the flight would be. We have a 3yr old and usually go Singapore Airlines but they are so much more expensive. Any thoughts/comments/advice would be appreciated thanks!
  12. Hi all, I know some airlines like Singapore airlines offer extra baggage allowance for free for holders of PR visa's. Does anyone know if Air Asia offer anything like this? Thanks, Lucy :cute:
  13. Just thought I would share this. With the rebranding of the this airline, they are offering some good deals, and are opening up a Melbourne to Honolulu route in December, offering some really good prices. There website is: http://www.flystrategic.com.au/Plan/Timetables.aspx and this is an article about them this week: http://finance.ninemsn.com.au/newsbusiness/aap/8369568/new-airline-offers-cheap-overseas-flights I have no connection with them by the way, but am pricing holidays.
  14. From November 8 CSair start flying into Perth. Perth-Guangzhou-Beijing. It would be a 2 stop trip to UK but worth a look if it's cheaper. More competition for International flights in and out of Perth is good. Flight schedules are..... Beijing-Guangzhou CZ319 17:30 20.45 Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday Guangzhou-Perth 22:00 Next day 6:30 Perth-Guangzhou CZ320 9:55 17:50 Wednesday, Friday, Sunday Guangzhou-Beijing 20:00 23:10 *During the initial stage after the flight course will be put into operation, adjustments might be made to the time to put the flight course into operation and the fight schedules due to the uncontrollable factors, such as government operating standards and airworthiness requirements. For more information, you can find the notice on the website.
  15. Hiya everyone, Just wondering if anyone can recommend a company to air-freight out hubby's guitar amp and head to Melbourne. Two boxes: 1 @ 23kg (~75*30*30cm) 1 @ 20kg (~65*30*70cm) He's been offered gigs and needs to get his gear out there, or else hire/borrow instead! (He'll already be taking 2 guitars on the plane with him - the rest will have to go in the container!)

    Air Asia X?

Hi folks Has anyone flown with Air Asia from the Uk? And if so could provide any feedback? They are blowing the competition out of the water price wise but I'm slightly concerned with the budget nature of it (legroom, reclining seats etc). There will be myself, my wife and our 19 month old son Harry so the plan was to fly from London to Kuala Lumpur and stay for a day or two to chill out (essentially for Harry's sake) and then get another flight from there to Brisbane/Gold Coast. The big advantage with Air Asia (apart from the price) is the fact that they seem to have an overnight, non stop flight from London to KL and potentially Harry will sleep for the majority of the flight which wouldn't be the case if it was an earlier flight or required stopovers etc. Sooooo, any thoughts??? Thanks in advance Paul
  25. Hi Everyone, We are sending a few boxes on wednesday by air... In the boxes are some toys for the kids.. They have batteries in them.. Dolls and Cars and the likes.. a buzz lightyear.. Can you leave the batteries in them while you send them? on the form, theres a long list of what you cant bring and on it says batteries.. But not sure if it meant like car batteries or other big ones... I would have thought batteries were fine as you bring some of these toys on a plane anyway.. but just wondering if anyone else has any experience with the situation? Thanks
