  1. Loads of medicals are referred, it is not so bad. I would wait until you are asked for further information, most people won't be asked for further information of course.
  2. They dont ask for 20 and they certainly don't ask for 90. And niece or no niece, it doesn't prove anything other than you know each other. Goodness knows why you are so determined to drown your CO is unnecessary documents. It isn't needed. Get over it, maybe bore your Facebook friends with your photos instead.
  3. You are right, there is nothing the state government can do and you certainly are not obliged to fill in their form. I guess if you felt so inclined you could give feedback on the difficulty of finding jobs, so maybe they consider their sponsorship list a bit more carefully in future.
  4. You don't need 20 photos. You don't need any, they don't prove a thing.
  5. PR cannot be applied for on the basis of time spent in the country, it just doesn't work like that. So no, your time on a WHV does not "count towards your PR", the very concept is flawed. To get PR you have to apply for a permanent visa, options might be the 186 187 189 pr 190. Have a read about them on http://www.immi.gov.au
  6. Nobody wants to see your 90 photos. You need to provide proof of joint address and a shared life, I have 90 pictures with an old school friend it doesn't make us defacto couple! Focus on proper evidence, I don't think you need any photos, if you insist I would put in 3 or 4.
  7. You need to start creating a trail of evidence, it won't create itself. Get your name on leases, get your address registered at the same place and start earning above board too. Cash in hand, presuming you are not paying taxes is illegal, should you get the option of sponsorship, it would mean that your work experience is not admissible. Student visas are very expensive and generally will not lead to any other visa down the line.
  8. I cannot remember my exact dates. But roughly: applied ~1st June, test ~25th June, became citizen beginning of September.
  9. You need to do IELTS, then do skills assessment for your occupation. Timing of skills assessments vary by occupation, yours should be pretty quick, other than you have to do academic IELTS first. Take care with your plans for travelling, you should not really be saying things like there is no point coming back home. You are going as a tourist, your intention should be to leave at the end of your holiday.
  10. The Queen pays tax on her personal income and money received from tax payers is not for her personal wealth but is for paying staff and other expenses of the office of the Head of State. I believe it costs about £30million a year so if she had to pay it out of her personal wealth, then she would have been bankrupt a long time ago. A presidency would also cost money, probably a lot more. The Queen has dedicated her life to serve this country and she is still going and she will until the day she dies. Unlike many of the real scroungers in the country, who probably haven't worked a single day in their lives, that bothers me a lot more.
  11. No you don't need one years PQE before applying for a visa. Do you really need experience points? Try to get to 60 without them as pre and post qualification is a grey area for accountants (for many occupations it is definitely post qualification only).
  12. Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie. We went to Armidale recently, but it really was not all that interesting, I'd stick to the coastal route.
  13. We had a day and half there after we got off the Ghan three years ago. I am literally struggling to recall what we did in the city itself and so by that I am concluding that we didn't find a lot to do there other than wander around a bit. I daresay the more interesting things to do are a couple of hours away, but we did not bother hiring a car. Still, I am always curious about visiting new places and I definitely recommend a visit, but perhaps hire a car.

Look at your visa or your visa grant letter, it will tell you the "expiry".

    Seeking Help

You don't need this letter, is there some reason you think you should get it, like is your experience not going to be clear or something?
  16. No, there is no requirement for the degree to be closely related. OP you will get your points if the degree is recognised in Australia. I would be slightly concerned about a distant learning degree and would have taken some professional advice on this before applying. You have already applied, so nothing to do but wait and see what happens, there is no point taking advice now..
  17. You could try for a remark but I don't know if it would go up a whole point, mainly I have seen half a point increases. My tip, stop trying to use advanced vocabulary, keep it simple. No I don't know what "Apropos of" means either and I might think you have made a mistake. I think your English is quite good, but I can tell you are not a native speaker at times and advanced vocabulary is not going to sound natural. Good luck.
  18. What kind of visa? Tourist? Working holiday? If it were something like that, I would be tempted to cancel it and apply again declaring properly the next time.
  19. That is what I have noticed too, however you have to bear in mind that the EU queue probably keeps on moving very quickly, whereas the non EU queue can result in individuals being stopped and questioned at length.
  20. Yes I think you have misunderstood. There is no requirement to use one passport for the trip. OP's husband can use the Australian one to leave and re-enter Australia and the UK one to enter the UK. The UK don't check passports on exit.
  21. Work experience is only included for last ten years anyway, so no point going any further back than 2004. Do you have 8 years evidence in the last ten years? If so, was there some reason TRA did not include it all that you know of?
