User Name
Is there any unusually long time frame like 2+ years? I am happy with 12-15 months as long as it doesn't take more than 15 months. Problem is when you hit 18 months and have no clue how long it might take. Average time for refugees is 11 months.

Well compared to other HR countries like China, India, Bangladesh and a lot many, who get finalized in 2-3 months, 15 months is a long wait. Its gonna happen when its gonna happen. No point in fretting over something you don't have control over. There's a lot of bureaucracy involved in many things that happen around the world and more so when its got something to do with Pakistan

Nah man, Bangladesh is at least 9 months. One guy got it in 2 months, must have gotten lucky. I've been waiting for 3.5 already. India-China is like any other, most get a direct grant if everything is up to date. From my observation this is the timeframe from longest: 1) Iranians (15 months) 2) Pakistanis (10-15 months) 3) Refugees (11 months doesn't matter where you come from) 4) Bangladeshis (9-10 months average) 5) Other mid-east countries

Guest Kangroo
I got a CO from team 7. Just wondering if anyone else especially from Pakistan has CO from the same team. I have applied for 176 visa and got CO one week after applying. I just wanna guess if they will send my application for long security checks or my LR citizenship will give me some advantage. I was born in Pakistan but now a UK citizen living in UK since last 8 years.

Kangroo you might have originated from an HR country but you'll be considered to be a LR applicant, hence the CO allocation within a week. I guess you would be fine frontloading your police checks for UK and medicals as well. The only delay that I can foresee is your police checks for the Pakistan part. Good luck!
