As Steve mentioned - the last couple of days have passed very slowly! I know we have the visa but really need to get that official confirmation! And yes, it is getting scary!! I was sort of thinking that they might send me an anniversary card or a request for medicals but I'm also deluding myself!:chatterbox: anyway off to Oz on Saturday for the wedding next week, and then hopefully back to some requests for viewings - as you say Petina scary! I was sort of thinking that they might send me an anniversary card or a request for medicals but I'm also deluding myself!:chatterbox: anyway off to Oz on Saturday for the wedding next week, and then hopefully back to some requests for viewings - as you say Petina scary! I got their 2nd payment request on Friday 12th. I bought the check and sent it by express post on Monday 15 of June. It's been delivered on 16...I'm waiting for their corespondent patiently. The "test" email reply, today, still says the 29 August 2013 for 143's so not any progress for about two weeks. We have our bungalow on the market now, the "for sale" board went up this morning, told the chap to put a "sold" one up quickly! Anyway have a great time and a safe journey, who are you flying with? Thank you Not sure what you mean by the 'same form" ? You normally need to wait for the request from DIBP in order to pay the AOS (unless it's changed and if so I am sure others will correct me). We went from the 173 to the 143 and DIBP emailed the relevant forms along with the request and instructions regarding how to proceed. Hope this helps. I am not sure how long it is taking now for the 143 to be processed when you already have the 173. Are you using a migration agent or going alone? I think we would feel more reassured if we were atleast asked to do the aos as it seems ages ago since we had anything to go by. Im sure you feel the same! I've lost count of the amount of times people say...ohi thought you were going to oz!! haha Seems neverending! I think the best thing to do is get the aos done as i've seen on some forums that that can take 5 weeks to complete! We don't want that requested in September as that would just stall the whole thing. We are using a migration agent but they seem in the dark too with all these delays. We contacted the department a couple of weeks ago but not heard anything back We have sold our house now and renting in very small place...! We're just not up to flying straight thro unless it's business class and don't want to spend money on that! it's a strange feeling putting the house on the market without having had a visa granted but don't want to hang around waiting for it to sell either. Good luck with your sale hopefully you will have a sold sign on soon. can't believe the test email still says 29 Aug, it's not been working for a while so I thought they would probably change the date. They haven't taken any money yet! I notice payment is usually taken first....??? They are saying it is taking approximately 24 months to process. Julie Hi Julie Yes we're full of trepidation now we're on the market; wondering if we've done the right thing without the visa grant and what we'll do if we sell quickly.
