  1. Hi. Sorry to jump on your thread. We were advised by our agent to apply to more states? So we have done just that after initially just applying to WA. I’m so confused now? Is there anywhere online I can see the info it says to not apply for EOI on other states. Thanks
  2. Thanks for your reply and yes we will be declaring everything. Thank you
  3. Hi all, Our daughter has been a bit slow talking and although we can understand her now and she does well at pre school, we’re worried she might be referred at medicals. Is there anything we can do before hand to take with us? Has anyone done this and prevented delays? She’s very shy which makes it worse if she doesn’t know somebody. We were thinking of asking pre school for a letter maybe or a private speech therapist? Any info please. Thanks
  4. Really?! Our migration agent recommended it so that’s unusual.
  5. Hi, we are waiting for a 491 and we lodged in October of last year I think. We have just paid to lodge in 3 other places to give us more of a chance too. When did you apply?
  6. Were going to Perth, where are you going?
  7. Hey, no not heard anything yet. It seems quite a newish visa? I hope after Xmas we might have an update...what's your circumstances? We're going on hubby's job who is a bricklayer and we also have a family member sponsoring us for extra points.
  8. Hello, We have just been notified our subclass 491 family visa has been lodged for expression of interest. Just wondered if anyone else is on this visa - waiting or just at the beginning? Would be great to see other timeliness of events ...exciting times we hope x
  9. Hello, Please can people recommend agents to use for our skilled/family visa? Unfortunately we know someone who used a woman quite a few years ago who turned out to be a total con artist and took their money and left them without a visa. Thanks
  10. Hello, Looking for advice off any Bricklayers who have emigrated recently to Perth on this skilled visa. My boyfriend has been a bricklayer for years and we have been together for a year. Can anyone advise us how long the visa will take approx and even maybe recommend a migration agent? Thanks x
  11. Hey everyone check this UPDATE out OFFSHORE APPLICANTS (subclass 143/173) Once your application is allocated to a case officer you or your authorised contact will be contacted and asked to provide more documents including police certificates and health clearances to complete your application. Please do not send documents until you are requested to do so. We are currently assessing for finalization applications lodged up to 18 October 2013. If your application was lodged after this date it is not yet being assessed. thanks
  12. No reply from test centre this morning. Anyone else had any luck? Thanks
  13. Hi Dolphin, were you hoping for your visa to be complete by Xmas? We have a lodgement date in Novbember 2013 and still no closer so I imagine you will have quite a bit longer to wait! However we have not been asked to do our AOS? I see you have though, how did you go about doing that so soon? Thanks pops
  14. OFFSHORE APPLICANTS (subclass 143/173) Once your application is allocated to a case officer you or your authorised contact will be contacted and asked to provide more documents including police certificates and health clearances to complete your application. Please do not send documents until you are requested to do so. We are currently assessing for finalization applications lodged up to 08 October 2013. Be assured we are working very hard and do appreciate your patience even though the assessing date hasn't moved this week. In the first four days of this week we granted well over 100 visas in these subclasses. Some clients will have previously been requested to commence medical examinations and police clearances by a specified date and are concerned that these may now become invalid. Once your application is allocated to a case officer documents may be requested to consider the application further. This may include a request to provide medical examinations and police clearances obtained following lodgement of the application. A case officer will assess the suitability of information including the validity of health and character clearances and contact will be made with the applicant or their authorised representative if further information is required. In some instances applicants may be asked to provide updated information. This will be assessed by a case officer and an applicant notified if this requirement applies to them. Thank you for your patience in this matter.
  15. Well no reply from the test centre this morning...if anyone hears different please post! Let's just hope it's jumped a lot when they do update!!
  16. Let's hops so eh! If it moves a week in week we would be very happy! Just want to hear from the Aos now!
  17. Anyone got a reply from parent centre this morning? I can't seem to get one? Thanks.
  18. Good morning, Does anyone know if the parent visa email is working? I have sent an email but not had a response. I have seen on here somebody say is has gone to the 18th September, is this confirmed? Excited!! Please keep moving along!!
  19. UPDATE - OFFSHORE APPLICANTS (subclass 143/173) Once your application is allocated to a case officer you or your authorised contact will be contacted and asked to provide more documents including police certificates and health clearances to complete your application. Please do not send documents until you are requested to do so. For those who were originally requested to undertake medical examinations 12 months after lodgement date, please consider waiting an extra 2 - 3 months to undertake them due to the current processing time being 18 - 22 months. We are currently assessing for finalization applications lodged on 29 August 2013. The 2nd visa application charge increased in September 2013 so we had a LOT of applications lodged in August 2013. Be assured we are working very hard and do appreciate your patience. How can it not have moved a day in weeks!!?? Its beyond ridiculous
  20. So great hearing of people getting their visa's!!!!! OUr lodgment is November 2013 vso hopefully wont be too far away now. Hope you lucky guys enjoy a good drink to celebrate!! woo hoo!!
  21. Yeah our medicals and police checks run out the end of the year too. I think the best thing to do is get the aos done as i've seen on some forums that that can take 5 weeks to complete! We don't want that requested in September as that would just stall the whole thing. We are using a migration agent but they seem in the dark too with all these delays. We contacted the department a couple of weeks ago but not heard anything back We have sold our house now and renting in very small place...!
  22. Thanks Sylvia, yes we were hoping for September too but looking at how slow things are moving that is seeming like it will just come and go. Are you using a migration agent or going alone? I think we would feel more reassured if we were atleast asked to do the aos as it seems ages ago since we had anything to go by. Im sure you feel the same! I've lost count of the amount of times people say...ohi thought you were going to oz!! haha Seems neverending!
