I would just like to thank Steve at concept Australia Manchester. He made the whole process so much easier and was very efficient. I can't recommend there services any higher. Even if you know what your doing its a small price to pay for peace of mind. I owe the fella a beer or two!
bobby122
Not been on here in ages, very surprised to see how quickly visa's are being granted now! Although I have my 'depart for grant' I am not actually departing until February next year (I'm already in Australia) so will be 14 months since lodge to grant for me! No, the notice had a date I had to have departed by, which was sometime next year. I had to reply to the notice within 28 days with my flight details. Spriteley
Hi all, this forum has been brilliant in relieving anxieties! We applied for 309/100 on 15 August and I would have been completely worried by now about not having a CO, but thank goodness everyone is in the same boat! We've got three kids and been married for six years. My hubby is desperate to go home. Flights booked for 30 June. Let's hope that soon the COs will come flying out soon for all of us who applied after July. Thanks everyone!

We applied 12th August and like you married six years but only two kids. Hopefully it all goes smoothly for us and we get our grants around the same time!!! It's my husband applying for the visa. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Oh that's exciting! I find it funny how many people write and then later the same day something happens! My husbands been here 15 years, he's very excited. Easy to be excited as it gets darker and colder! Scraping ice off the cars this morning! Will try not to assume I will be assigned a case officer in 3 days time if I am 3 days after you! Did they ask you for medicals?
tracy8099
Yep. Asked for Medical and police check (from 2 countries for my husband) and also we need to do form 80. I asked on here right at the start of my application if others uploaded it and those that answered hadn't heard of the form. Did you have to do that form? Its not listed on the general checklist to submit at time of application iirc. It may be because your husband has lived in another country (possibly considered a high risk one?) also in the last 10 years. Or if there are children on the application or he is from a high risk country. I don't know what the criteria is to be asked to submit a form 80 but if its asked for, submit it asap and ensure its filled out fully and correctly. Yep a high risk country as he's South African and only lived in the UK for 9 years [emoji16][emoji19] Got the initials wrong for CO too as only had a quick look - they are VR (senior officer). Don't think I've seen hers on the list before. Anyone else had her?

Soffy999
I submitted my 309/100 application in London on 8 October 2014. CO = WP Police check submitted 6 May 2015. I undertook the medical at this time in Knightsbridge and assume the results were sent directly through. Our baby was born in February 2015 and he has citizenship by descent and now an Australian passport. I updated the CO about this in August 2015 via email, and received an email back to say that "your partner visa application is currently being processed". I haven't heard anything further since then. We're not in any mad rush to move to Australia so I haven't been chasing, and also the initial letter said that the processing times were 10-14 months. I haven't been looking on this forum recently until today, and have seen that other people are getting their visas in 9 or 10 months. Has anyone recently had as long a delay as mine? (i.e. nearly 14 months)? We haven't got any complicated circumstances I don't think - I'm a UK citizen, husband is from Adelaide, we've been married since 2011 and living in London all that time, and as mentioned now have a 9 month old baby. No issues from the police checks or medical. I've emailed them today anyway and will await their response ....

Have they asked for the BC, Aus passport and Aus citizenship by descent cert for your baby? Our son was 5 when I applied. IIRC had to submit him as not migrating on my application and state he had Aus citizenship and Aus pp etc and had to submit all this evidence to show he did not need a visa etc. I also had to submit his full birth cert to show both our names on it (to show husband, the sponsor was actually listed as the father and therefore no leave to remove issues I guess).
