Have seen 3 months to ceremony, also seen 16-18 months with no test appointment. Hi Millski88, I went through your profile and it looks like you are ENS 186 applicant who got his PR through this pathway. I got mine the same way and same occupation Marketing specialist. Just I want to ask what kind of documents am I required to submit? Mainly work related documents. Do I need to give them my work details when I submit my citezenship application? Thank you
MrGrieves
Hi, Do you guys know whether we get an email when application gets approved? I passed the test last Friday and now wondering if I will have to wait another couple of hours or 10 months. I'm checking my immiaccount about 16 times a day, but if I know I will get an email when approved, I might slow down on my compulsive checks. My timeline FYI: - Application 15.02.19 - Interview and test email: 19.06.19 - Test and Interview: 24.06.19 (rescheduled from 9.11.19) Thanks!

Citizenship by any pathway is not dependent on employment (a particular job or employer). No work related documents need to be submitted for a citizenship application. The wait time also varies and there seems to be no queue system when it comes to the applications being accepted. I sat my test in March 2019 and have heard nothing, but there's so many people on this forum who sat the test after me and have been approved already. Just luck of the draw it seems.

I wonder whether the approval also depends on the waiting list for ceremonies. They will not approve the application if waiting time for a ceremony is too long. It looks like those who got their approval also received the invitation to the ceremony for no more than 2 months later. But I've got no idea, just speculating... I sat my test in March 2019 and have heard nothing, my application is still on 'received'. My mum, who I live with, so definitely same local council as me, sat her test in May 2019 and has received a ceremony date for August 2019. Honestly at this point I just don't think there's any logical system
Tanwi
I wonder if having children on one's application could cause delays? For instance in my case, my ex partner and I split up years ago. He has sent a letter giving his consent plus a copy of his passport bio data page. Which was sighted at interview and was said to be ok (as signature matched his letter). He's also a PR here. My question is I'm wondering if they will contact him for further clarification. Kinda daunting as he frequently travels overseas for work and has entered a new relationship (his partner isn't to keen on entertaining his son and allowing communication etc...) Anyways long story short my question is does anyone know if they contact the other parent after they have sighted the letters & passport bio data pages?
