  1. They also asked for my Medicare card, and they scanned it.
  2. Good luck! I had my ceremony yesterday, now enjoying my new citizenship and also waiting for my passport!
  3. It should be fine, immi knows your first date or arrival anyway. They asked me at the interview what my first date was, but didn't ask to see my passport or what. As if it was just a test question
  4. Good that you didn't withdraw and re-submit your application Congrats!
  5. I think the conditions are clear - if your partner is currently enrolled in her masters, you have unrestricted hours. I had the same condition for 3 years, it was never a problem.
  6. Don't worry, I would expect DOHA ceremonies to help clear the backlog, and hopefully your wait should not be longer than the expected 6 months (if not 3 as it was the case for me).
  7. I think it's just DOHA organising ceremonies across Melbourne to clear some of the Councils' backlog.
  8. On 11 September 2016 (4 years before your intended lodgement date), you were not in Australia nor a permanent resident - see other posts on this forum about this condition. I think you can only apply 4 years after your return to Australia, on 2 Feb 2021.
  9. Just got my ceremony email. Looks like it's not going to be hosted by Moreland Council, so probably a DOHA ceremony on 14 October.
  10. 4 or 5 business days. My initial test date was in November, got it back to end of June. I checked 10 times a day and moved it 4 times forward
  11. 80-100 people gaining citizenship from what I've read, but not sure how reliable is the source (another forum). It also said the backlog was currently about 400 people (but I suspect it has gotten worse with all the new approvals in the last couple of months, so hard to say). What I know is there has been 3 ceremonies since my approval (including the September one which I'm sure I'm not on the list), and no news from Council. Soon my waiting time from approval to ceremony is going to be longer than from lodgement to approval Did you not find a sooner date for your test date?
  12. Every second Tuesday of the month, apparently. And up to 100 people per ceremony from what I have read somewhere else.
  13. 2.5 months, so if I'm on the October ceremony, it will have been 3.5 months between approval and ceremony.
