  1. Hi, I applied for citizenship (2019), sat my test and am awaiting an outcome. Travel entitlement on PR has expired in July 2019. I am wanting to apply for an RRV for the Xmas holidays. How long does it take to process an application? I have been in Australia since April 2017. Got PR in 2014. Been out of country about 15 months in total. Different trips between 2014 to April 2019. Any idea how long an RRV may take? Thank you.
  2. Believe you can contact immigration for a movement record. Not sure the exact steps but should be somewhere online. Where you can find the information on how to get your travel records.
  3. Mine went from received to Further Assesment and is still on Further Assesment
  4. Received my request for more information on a Monday I believe. I submitted the Info via email and uploaded again on immi and got test invite the following Monday.
  5. Does anybody know where the above mentioned visas are processed. Are they processed in Australia as the sponsor is in Australia or are they processed offshore like a normal tourist visa application? Application is being done online. Thank you.
  6. They charged you in installments and not upfront the full cost? And thank you for the information.
  7. Thank you. I will click links below and enquire .
  8. Hi, Anyone know how much a migrant agent would cost to solicit a tourist visa application? I just need help with an agent to lodge a tourist visa application for my partner to visit. Only thing is I don't know how much it would cost.
  9. Yeah can't do much about having it cleared. It's all in their hands. For me it was to give me a sense of what's happened since applying. Haven't done another one, and won't for some more months. But good your IS cleared that's a good start.
  10. Submit it online. Just type FOI in Google and should take you to the FOI page. Answer as needed and quote you want your ICSE Screenshot and Case notes. Attach Driver license or anything proof of who you are and submit. They will respond if they needs more information.
  11. They will ask you to supply that overseas police clearance if they need it. And yep a waiting game this whole thing is.
  12. On immigration website ,if you search through there is a page on freedom of information on there, you just click through and submit with a copy of your drivers license etc. They will email you back when they receive and advise more.
  13. Hi, No mine IS is still requested. In case notes it mentioned pending a predecessor verification My biometrics also is on Amber at the moment. Risk check is Clear MAL clear Your IS being cleared it good news I think. So your approval could be soonish (assuming of cause)
  14. True that could be it ,also I have a child on mine, his other parent and I are not together so I'm guessing they might have to follow up with said parent etc. So I'm expecting a long wait for our approval. So yes they requested a OSPC. They did note on case notes in FOI that OPSC no trace and it was clear.Oh well just got to keep waiting
  15. I'm not from your council but my timeline is somewhat similar to yours. Applied: 13 Feb 2019 Request Additional doc (overseas police clearance, submitted same day): 08 May 2019 Test Email: 13 May 2019 Test Date : 27 May 2019 Still awaiting approval as well My applicationis being processed as per their current standard process so no streamlined business, but I'm ok with this.
  16. Yeyah!! Exempt is great news. You are on your way to approval.
  17. I also got my FOI back. Risk check still undertermined, so I'm guessing for you at least ya'll have had your risk assessed and I guess they will clear it up soon.
  18. If you really want to see what happening with your file then lodge FOI. They don't release much information. Only ISCE screenshots of your file and case notes. Nothing much. For some it's a relief to see and for others it's frustrating. So up to you. One FOI in a year is sufficed I should say, to much is kind of counter productive. Approval can happen anytime from same day to 2 years or who knows. Don't take your interviews words to heart they are only being polite.
  19. Don't know actual time frame but I have seen people apply after a 4 months etc. It's at your own discretion but I guess the longer you wait thr more stuff they could have done on your file and the more case notes you can see. /updates. Maybe
  20. Took the test late may passed 100% no approval yet. So can't say how long approval takes. But some are super lucky for same day approval. Also has anyone here applied for an FOI?
  21. Agreed. Wish they weren't or are being cynical. For myself I have been here since 12 years of age. Studied my way through (international fees etc), then got PR , had my children here. So Australia home to me I love my home country but Australia is where my children are so therefore where I will be. Also citizenship would open up a lot of opportunities for me. It's been a rough couple of years so I will be so over the moon when I attend this ceremony. Because finally I will be settled. Anyways I'm a new applicant so gotta be patient and when it does happen, I am baking myself a huge cake to celebrate. For now gonna keep clicking immi everyday to see any progress
  22. Thank you tanwi... still waiting for approval letter.showing approval on immi account At least it shows approval so that's a good thing.
  23. That's an impressive timeline for approval. Best of luck with ceremony and congratulations .
