Hi All,

I am new to this thread.

I have submitted my 489 Visa application on 23 Oct 2018 with all required documents with PCC etc. Got "IMMI Assessment Commence" email from CO on 7 Jan 2019 stating that it has been allocated for processing. CO did not asked for any additional document so far. Any one have idea how much time it will take now for grant.

Hi all!

I'm new here. I have just started to work with an agent with a view to apply for a 489 in SA.

Does anybody know what the current time frame is in SA?

Also, if anybody else is looking to move (or has recently moved) to SA, it would be good to touch base, and get to know some people who are in the same boat as I am!

Anyone who has lodged for 489 Visa (state-sponsored)?? Let's try and assess the timelines here for grant. We lodged for 489 visa on 04th Sept and got a CO assigned on 04th Oct who asked us to upload PCCs. We did that on 11th Oct. No revert on grant after that. Anyone else here??

Hi All,

Above thread is quite old but I am facing the same issue now. I have received 489 ITA from BSMQ on 19th December and submitted all documents by 27th December and did the payment also. I am yet to hear anything from BSMQ. I don't know if my application has been rejected or its status.

Can anyone advice on this matter and is it okay to contact BSMQ regarding the status of the application?

Indeed truly inspirational. Definitely encouraging for me and many others in the group. Since the day I have got grant, feeling are up and down just like waves of the sea. At time high and other time low. Hope all reach and accomplish the goals.

I wish you all the best and keep in touch.
