Who requested you this test again? CO or MOC? Did you check the Health examination in your immi account? Is your son cleared appearing on Health section ? It seems they want to push you little back. My son had an issue with health exam (further assessment) and eventually two and half months was wasted. So do act promptly.

Good luck !

Yep - everything for my son is fine in regards to medical. It's the fact that when we did the medical, he was under 2 - and only a medical was required.
Now that he's 3 and they are looking at the case, they have a requirement from certain countries - for anyone over 2 to have a TB screening.

The Case Officer is requesting it.

Hi everyone,

I have been a silent reader on here for a while now. I received what I thought was going to be my 'Golden Phonecall' 2 days ago and with the risk of ridicule I just thought I would share my situation and ask for any advice....

short story I applied for my PR in December 17 I am currently on a 457 as a marketing specialist. My friend applied in November 17 and received PR June 18 working at the same company so I had a good feeling mine was due soon but having heard some horror stories on here I didn't want to count my chickens.

When I applied for my 457 the question any convictions came up. I have had 2 cautions in my life one 14 years ago for drunken disorderly (I'm from Newcastle it's a standard rap) and one 9 years ago for damaging property (again drunk put a cone on someone's car and scratched it) advice given at the time was don't mention it as they are cautions not convictions. When I applied for my PR these showed up on my police checks my MA said don't worry we will write a stat dec saying you misinterpreted conviction and caution and you are sorry, a different person etc (which is true I am 32 years old I have built a house here and have a Australian partner and son. I think in England a lot of things we did seemed normal in our environment but it takes moving somewhere new to realise how stupid and childish you are!)

Fastforward to the phone call 2 days ago and you guessed it the response says more info needed it says  I made bogus statements in my 457 and I have 28 days to respond as to why. It is a very strongly worded letter and says if they find my explanation not good enough my visa maybe refused.

I guess my reason for the post is:

1. Don't be stupid like me in the first place

2. If you are then admit it on your 457 no matter how minor it might seem!

3. Any advice?

Thanks Adam

Hi,

Can any one please clarify me whether we need to submit the transcripts of my spouse during 186 DE visa process? She didnt have any work experience and even I didnt use her experience in my ACS. She got all other documents except transcripts of her diplomo.

Please clarify if any one had this situation?

Thanks in advance.

Ram.

@Ram I was asked to provide proof of academic transcripts for myself and all family members. I had already submitted the diplomas for all family members - this included schooling as well. I have re submitted all docs of the 15 Aug 2017 and am still waiting for a response.

Thanks mate.

Nomination was approved same day as they served me with the letter 08/08/18.

The main things we had to prove were:

-That it would cause significant stress to an Australian resident or citizen if I was to not have my visa approved.

My partner is studying at the moment (she is a citizen) and my baby is obviously a citizen so I am the only breadwinner in the household so that helped. For that we had to supply her TAFE documents, our joint bank account details etc.

- That I had significantly contributed to the Australian economy and communities (member of surf life savers, charities etc)

I am not a member of any charities or clubs (that would of helped) but I do pay a lot of tax so we sent my last 2 years PAYG summaries.

- I had made a genuine mistake.

I had but this was hard to prove. My MA helped write a letter along with the HR manager of my employer to explain my character etc and that I had made a genuine mistake I hadn't tried to hide anything etc.

We also included my mortgage documents to show we owned a home here etc.

Hope this helps!

We're in the Same situation than you guys.  We did the medicals earlier this year and he was under 2 then.  So they will most probably request the same from us.

Have you left Australia after his first medical was done?

Nope, we've been here the whole time. In fact he was in the country since 3 months. It looks to be a policy of theirs that they are strict on. At least for certain countries.
My suggestion, for the $90 fee, rather get it done and be safe. Unless you know they won't need / request it.

In any case is unbelievable

Personally, I think it's a great idea. Don't forget that the 'major' cities are (so far) labeled to be: Perth | Sydney | Melbourne and Brisbane... That leaves so many other options.

Today is my last day in this forum.

I applied in the mid of January 2018,  Nomination and Visa took 8 months 1 week to get approved. I can realise how stressful it was. But I should say sincerely that the experience of the people writing in this forum helped me a lot to develop my insights. My advice is whenever you are applying, try to understand the whole process carefully. Dont depend on the Migration Agent blindly.

I wish all waiting here, will get their result as soon as possible. Good wishes for everyone.
