    Hey All, Another major step for me, after 9 years, 8 visa applications (including 2 refused visas due to the businesses closing out an ABN without my knowledge) and a journey I don't think I could take on again....but worth it looking back!     Hey All! I have just submitted my application for Citizenship by Conferral, and I've just re-read the required documents which has me questioning myself. In the 'Good Character' documents, it says the below on overseas police checks: Would I be right to read the second point as you held a permanent visa for Australia at that time? I've been here since 2014, I have had various police checks submitted for previous visas, and haven't left the country since my PR was granted...I took it to mean I don't need to provide any further penal clearances, but now I'm doubting myself! Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated! Thanks!

    Just a quick update for the benefit of anyone on a 309 and lodged the 100 application. I had my 100 approved a couple of days before Christmas after lodging it in June of this year. This whole process has been incredibly tough, I've been in Australia for coming on 8 years, had a 186 PR application refused (and appealed) due to the business 'phoenixing' their ABN and holding back significant payments, before finally going down the 309/100 route with a partner with whom I am building a new home and hoping for our first child this year...It's been a journey and hasn't really settled in, but big thanks to all of you on here, especially the consistent posters who hold a lot of good knowledge and are happy to share. I hope 2022 is the year for all of you still checking that immi account daily (I've done it twice already today...not sure if it's muscle memory or just triple checking...haha)

    Hey there @psuwara! Ah fantastic, it won't be long before we hit Dec, and hopefully it's a speedy application for you & and your significant other!! So, with the subclass 100, you will need to submit another application through your immi account, I think it was called a 'Stage 2 - Permanent Partner Visa Assessment (100, 801)' where you will have to basically submit another whole application including forms, paperwork and evidence (including those form 888s). Generally immi might send you an email a month before the 2 year date just to remind you, but its up to you when to apply. Once that is submitted, you can upload all your documentation, this site has a good list of suggested docs, but every case is different so don't treat it as overly prescriptive!! One thing to watch for - a mistake I made - I went to upload all of my documentation immediately after the application was submitted, but the only document type there was 'other', but when I logged out and back in the next day (and every day since then ) the other categories for documents appeared such as 'proof of identification etc etc. Apparently its a known issue with the immi system, so just log out/back in and give it some time for the categories to appear....my case officer will hate me as I panicked and reuploaded the documents in the correct areas.... The immi website is also a very strong resource for the process too - check it out here Hopefully that helps, and you get a speedy decision!

    It's fantastic to see such a short turnaround after what looked like a big gap in any news! I submitted my stage 2 (100) application on the 10th July, hopefully we hear something back soon but very aware it could be another 12 months! - any indications of timelines for SC100 at the moment? I'm interested to see whether the stage 2 application will be reviewed in London just like the 309 was...

    Hey @Questionsearch So I had the same experience as you - applied for the 309 (820) visa via an agent, but just recently (July of this year) submitted the 100 (801) application by myself. I will start this by saying I'm not a migration agent, and my visa has not been approved, so take this with a grain of salt! The application process was simple - you just needed your reference number for the previous visa grant, and that linked your new application to the previous one; no need to submit a specific document to change the communication, it happens automatically as this is treated as a separate application, and if you were going to use an agent, they would need to sign another form that they were your representation. For the secondary, I just followed their guidelines, and added as much documentation as I could - it's really to prove that the relationship is genuine and continuing. We found it hard to get any social photographs with all the lockdowns etc, but have plenty of other evidence. One tip for me, as you get to the stage of uploading the documentation, the only category I could upload to right away was 'Other.' If you refresh the page, or wait until the next day, all of the categories that you can upload to appear (I uploaded them all under other....then the categories appeared and I panic uploaded them all again...hope my officer doesn't hate me too much for it!!)

    Hi all, would actually be really interested in anyone has any idea is someone on a temporary partner visa (309) has any eligability to any assistance at all. Doesn't seem like it, and after 6 years here I've lost my job, so it's looking like I have 0 income for the next 6 months but can't travel home with my partner...what are they expecting us to do??

    Congrats @Maroonie82, what fantastic news for you! I was actually looking at send my dog and cat the opposite way, and got quotes from Jetpets, Dogtainers and Petraveller, both of which were very close in price and inclusions.     Finally....still in shock, but we recieved our grant pretty much immediately after leaving the country.... I can't believe how incredibly lucky I am to get a decision in 7 months, and the empathetic part of me makes me feel guilty and sorry for those of you with applications submitted much before mine. However I also can't help but feel like I was due a little visa luck after two refused sponsorship visas (neither of which were a fault with my application, but the sponsoring businesses), and 3 years of application processing...trust me, I know everyone's pain. DOL: 21 June 2019 RFI Medical and police check: 13 December 2019 Submitted: 6 Jan 2020 RFI to leave: 16 Jan 2020 Grant: 23 Jan 2020 @Ayrlogan they send you an RFI to give you 28 days to leave the country; you need to send them your flight details, and confirm the day before that they have recieved your information. I recieved my grant within hours of touching down in NZ. I wish everyone the very best of luck with your applications, and hope they come through soon!!

    Hi All, I posted a little while back, as I wasnt sure where my application woud be processed (Irish Republic passport, living in Australia, applied from Indonesia), and I just recieved my RFI to leave for a decision...from the London office, not the Indonesian, or the Australian...weird Thought I'd add my timeline; Applied 21st of June 2019 RFI for police checks and medical on 6th Dec submitted 6th of Jan RFI to leave for decision 15th Jan Looking at booking flights for next week, and have to apply for a BVB incase the decision is negative (very very long story), and still pinching myself that there's movement, but just veery worried that its a negative outcome...

    I don't know to be honest; my RFI has no details on it other than the case officers first name, Position Number, and 'Department of Home Affairs'. I won't post the details for obvious privacy reasons. I'm not sure how the applications are divided by office, either by passport (which would mean London), place applied from (Jakarta), or where the MA who submitted the application is (Australia, but doubt it's this option). I did ask about that previously, but nobody has been able to give me an explaination!

    Hey all! Just a quick one to let everyone know, that after applying on 21/6/19, I recieved an RFI this morning for police clearance from various countries, health check, and form 80. Funnily enough I had my medical done yesterday and applied for my police certs last week, so pretty good timing. Happy to see some movement, unforutnate I didnt do all of this one week earlier! I applied from Bali while on holiday, we're using an australian immigration agent, and in Australia on a bridging visa (not linked to our 309/100 application). Happy to be added to the spreadsheet, and also happy to help set it up in google sheets like in other channels so that it is a live doc and can be edited by approved people...just putting it out there! Glad to see some movement, but aware that after submitting this information I may still be waiting a while...

    Hi everyone!! Congrats to all the recent grants, and all the best to everyone waiting....I know it's tough... New poster to this particular thread, and I have a question which may have already been anwsered before but I couldn't find it. As mentioned in this channel name, 'applied for in London', does anyone know if there is a 'high risk' and 'low risk' catagory for applications which determines processing time like it does with other visas? Does location of application matter, or is passport country more important? We applied June of this year from Bali (Irish passport, aussie MA, hence the Q above), so still quite a bit of waiting left for us, but can't help but look at the forum every so often!

    Hey guys, Unfortunately, nomination was refused on the basis of unable to support my salary. This is despite not missing a pay run for a year, and even a pay increase due to hit KPIs. This is mainly as the company is a start-up, so I can understand where the case officer is coming from, but obviously frustrating. Currently looking at options of appeal or partner (thanks @Nora) Second nomination refusal, which is a gut-punch. Thanks for all the support, and 85% of the content here really helped. Hope everyone get's their visas soon!

    Hey @Hex Obviously not a professional, but I'm under the impression that PR is a visa and has a validity period (can be renewed), and if you are on a foreign passport, the PR visa is associated to that passport which you need to keep up to date with the DIBP. I think you have to go into the application on the immi account and go through the 'update details' link. The end would be the visa validity if not renewed, or citizenship....this is my uneducated guess, so please correct me if mistaken!!

    I'm the first from my company to go for sponsorship, and currently creeping up on the 12 month mark with my agent saying it could be another 6-12 months....could be a link, but I personally don't think so

    @Mustung Fixed, someone had just moved it! To be honest people, I have stopped paying attention to @Kashif.Iqbal's posts. There are a lot of questions and broad statements, such as "Big changes in immigration coming in January" but no answers to anything despite being asked three separate times. Nothing against the guy, hope he gets PR very soon, but not the contributor I come to this forum for! Hope everyone is looking after themselves mentally in this pretty tough period, and gets that golden email sooner rather than later

    Hey @millie1871, added to the May 2018 tab, let me know if any details are wrong Just a note to people about the spreadsheet; the column with processing team, that is not necessarily the state you are applying from, and you wont know this until first contact with the DIBP through a request for documents or visa grant.

    Hey @Kashif.Iqbal, If you meant June 2018, then I think you might be at least 4-5 months off until your case is opened unfortunately! Patience and leaving go a little will help your case more than writing a letter to say you are in a low population area; if anything for your mental well-being alone. Just to pull you up for the third time on the above statement; was there anything behind this or just rumor? Just genuinely interested if there is any basis to this?

    Hey @sawar, not quite sure what you mean by 'annual package', but it sounds like an issue to raise with Fair Work Ombudsman, as any payment related issue should be brought up with them, as Immigration don't really deal with that. You'll have a good chance of outcome if you have a signed contract. https://www.fairwork.gov.au/
