Their occupations are electric engineer. I have applied 1 mounth later at December 2017 and still did not get any feedback, My question is, does occupation makes any difference at the prioritization of the applications ? Yes, i have the same question, does the occupation matter? I'm working as a Restaurant Manager.

dindurion
Hi all, silent reader here... No grant but at least some progress: both sponsor and we got an RFI today, status changed from received to initial assessment. The facts: Nomination and visa logged 25th August 2017 DE, Marketing Specialist, LR, 2 applicants Additional documents requested 10th May 2018. I do not know what they requested from the sponsor. For us it was the travel history (our immigration lawyer forgot to upload the attachment we had provided) and some clarification on addresses in the past. So looks like they are moving forward assessing applications from August. Fingers crossed and good luck to all!

On form 80 (which our lawyer suggested to complete upfront) section E question 18 asks for International travel/movements. Ahh right sorry of course thats right. Im a marketing specialist from june 2017, TRT, 1 person so form 80 doesn't apply. Was worried there for a second! It two administration assistants 6 weeks to work it all out and resulted in 56 pages that we submitted via the MA - We still didn't feel at the end that we managed to cover every trip that was done over the years as some passports we had electronic visas in them

In your previous post you asked: "for TRT, what the use of considering the profession?". I'll say that the profession is matter when you applied for the 186 TRT Visa, just because if your occupation is on the Skills occupation list Level 1, MAYBE your Visa can be approved earlier compare to the occupation on Level 2 or 3. As you can see in this forum, from the past months accountants and engineers received their Visa after 5-8 months. I hope this make sense.??
