  1. Yo don’t lose hope. I got her as well, i prepared for the worst because my owner works in the business as well but I still got PR after all
  2. If your employer supports you, you should be fine really. If it is not, you can try to go for skill assessment to apply 491,190,494 as it is not subject to s48. You can extend the visa by applying on federal after AAT, which may extend for another year or two while you’re thinking of other ways
  3. Yours’s probably different than mine then. My partner health check’s done, then his name is from in process to finalized. While my medical’s not progress yet (doing a week later due to some health complications) - then after my medical was approved then mine changed from in progress to finalize however doesn’t matter, what you do is wait
  4. Your name is finalized because your health check is done. Now you just need to wait, give them a call won't make it faster because I did the same. But mine is exactly 28 days after my document was requested.
  5. I think my medical was sent and approved on 20/9/22 but doesn't matter, they wait 28-30 days usually after requesting documents. The CO who requested my documents and the one who approved my visa is different. I think waiting long or not depends on your luck as well. There are no systems in immi Your occupation? It's a bit long to wait for a month, but I did see some people got requested 2 months after AAT. They will first approve your nomination, the email will be sent to your agent/you. Then they may request medical/pc as well on the same day, which is my case.
  6. Hi guys long time no see. 7. My nomination has been approved today
  8. S57 is very serious you should consult an agent, I don’t think it helps asking on here. S57 if answers wrong you can face 10 years ban
  9. Yes it is. But you only have a certain amount of time to submit the documents so it’s a bit rush to find an agent to accept yours now
  10. Congratulations mate, do you have a hearing or remit without one?
  11. me and my boss
  12. No they didnt request anything else beside the items we sent I submitted documents by request on 11/4, hear nothing back and got a hearing day 2 days ago.
  13. Mine is 4 months so I guess you still have to wait for a while.
  14. Finally got my hearing on 25/08, member is D Kelly. I heard that she is really really strict. Working for 5 years for the employer and now this Even though everything is genuine
  15. Finally, your month when you apply aat pls?
  16. I just checked, different requirements for 187 before and after July 2018. I do remember my friends all applied on March 2018, which they need only certificate III + IV + Diploma for chef and that’s it. The guy above applied his visa at 2017, he should not need any skill assessment, assuming he has the right qualification. So the case officer who asks for his skill assessment, is wrong. As of the 1st July 2018 the following requirements will apply to Direct Entry Subclass 187 visas as per the Department of Home Affairs website: With regard to the skills requirement for this visa subclass, at the time of lodgement the applicant MUST have: At least 3 years of relevant working experience; and A positive, valid skills assessment in the nominated occupation from the relevant assessing authority. These requirements will not apply to the Temporary Resident Transitional stream at this stage.
  17. Yes some case officers don’t check at all, they may not even know the difference between 186 (which needs skill assessment) and 187
  18. Weird. I checked, there’s no regulation request skill assessment for 187. We don’t need it, and my friends- 3 of them got sponsored for chef, none needs skill assessment. Check with my agent - he said no. If any agents ask for it, ask them a copy of legislation
