Guest51810
Probably not,i like "warm",but the sun kills me if im honest, mates in Perth reckon you get used to it/acclimatise,i dont know?Im not a massive sun lover tho,if anyone gave me the choice of weather i'd go for a frosty clear day,no rain tho, rain=rain offs=no £ Im the same as you, dont like the rain but i dont mind normal cooler weather, dont cope well with high heat. It must of only been around 20degrees here today but i felt roasting at times, must of been the shock lol
Perthbum
Couldn't get a 7 day forecast for Stratford-On-Avon, PB, but seeing that it's only a short distance from Brum, I used that instead...Cold, windy and very humid. http://www.theweatheroutlook.com/forecast/7day/birmingham Cheers, Bobj. I think you are a little out bobby boy...:biglaugh:...ask anyone near brum...it has been glorious for the last week and today was very warm without a cloud in the sky....good try though...

Guest51810
Wow what a difference today, bit chilly and windy. Might make it a bit easier to do the rest of the gardening though! Our landlord was supposed to come do it because its her pride and joy and i'd probably screw it up lol but i got fed up waiting

MrsRead
I'm going for 15. We've had 2 "reasonable" days so far, and it's fast approaching mid-May for heaven's sake! It's now returned to normal; cold, windy, wet and miserable with the sky fifty shades of grey. We haven't had a decent summer for years, and now it looks as though spring has been taken off the menu too (oh, the day we get on that plane won't be a day too soon!) I have been back 5 years and except fir last year I have really enjoyed the summers where I live, I actually disliked the weather in Perth...give me the 4 seasons. MrsRead
I wouldn't mind if we had seasons. It just seems to be endless months of grey, dropping into single figures for a while then up to insipid mid-teens in so-called summer. With the odd day thrown in to show us just how good it can and should be. Maybe we should move to Stratford for our last few months in the UK; it sounds like you've had a much better deal there! You should come out to Northern Australia, then. We have 2 seasons, the wet and the dry...This time around, the wet has been dry and the dry is wet...:arghh: But it's warm rain. Cheers, Bobj. Incata
I've swerved it and hired a gardener to sort it out, only the first cut then i'll take over. I'm thinking of letting part of the garden go wild to encourage wild life. They did that at my school in the UK. They called it a Nature Reserve. I just get on with and nothing stops me doing anything, I feel sorry for people who don't do anything because it is cloudy....and remember except for last year we are entering a phase of very dry weather, the last two decades has been the driest on record.
