  1. Any time from now until 3 or more months. I sent my forms back on the same day as contact too. It's been over a month and nothing yet. You are also a 190 applicant right?
  2. Sounds like you accomplished a lot in the first 10 days! Keep us posted on how the job situation works out. If we get the visa in the next couple of months, we would like to be out there before the end of the year.
  3. SA sponsored me with 65+5 points for a 190 in November 2018. Wait until they open the new Migration year in July and then there will be no special conditions on NEC Nurse.
  4. Congratulations Renault! It was a long wait, but worth it.
  5. My case officer just asked for form 47a for my 18 year old dependent migrating child and my 2 independent none migrating children aged 19 and 21.
  6. Just received a case officer contact for form 47A for dependent and non dependent kids over 18 yrs. This was at 144 days.
  7. Just got case officer contact for 47A for non dependent kids and my dependent over 18 year old daughter. This was at 144 days of waiting with my 190 visa application.
  8. We are all in the same boat. It could happen any time, we just have to have faith that it will show up eventually.
  9. Hi, No new grants reported by anyone yet. Everyone is still waiting. Which visa have you applied for?
  10. Congratulations, you must be happy about that! I guess you are further ahead than most. your status in MyImmi Account must say processing or something like that. Hopefully everyone else like us, 133 days with no contact whatsoever, can hear something soon, and everyone can get their grants.
  11. That sure is a long time! I'm sure there are others still waiting too. I'm only at 132 days and I fully expect the long drawn out wait. I'm not selling up until I get that visa grant as you just never know. Try and stay positive, I'm sure you will hear something sooner rather than later. What Anzsco code are you under?
  12. Gurpreet, Did you get an immi commencement email after you lodged your application?
  13. Been 132 days here and nothing. They are going slow on the 190's and rocking through the 189's. They are cherry picking though. Just look at the anzsco codes....if we were software Engineers we would be approved already!
  14. That is good news! Get your visa application in straight away, you can always keep uploading once its lodged. I cant remember but are you a 190 or a 489?

    AHPRA

Yes, this happened to me and I believe it's common. At the bottom of my post you can see how long My AHPRA took.
  16. Now if only they would start processing the visa's to allow us to move to these regional areas.
  17. Hey JetBlast, you have 3 months in Australia to drive on your U.K license (rules by SA government). Near the end of the 3 months you should have the 3 pieces of ID. You can take your U.K passport and visa info to the office they should be able to look you up on VEVO, your credit or debit card from a bank with your name printed on it and signature finally a bank account statement. I'm sure by 3 months you will have rented a place and have bills, so you should have more than enough documentation.
  18. If this was me, I think I would meet with a Lawyer. I would try and obtain some kind of legal document signed stating your legal rights to move your child without the fathers consent.
  19. This truly is an awful situation! All I can think of is for you to try and contact him or contact his family who maybe in touch with him. Do you have joint custody?
  20. Probably been answered in numerous other posts, but if you are not claiming points for partner, then no need for a skills assessment for partner. Therefore, as seen on the homeaffairs website (https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/help-support/meeting-our-requirements/english-language/competent-english) To prove you have competent English, show us evidence that: you are a citizen of and hold a valid passport issued by the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Canada, New Zealand or the Republic of Ireland or in the 3 years before you applied for the visa, you scored one of the following: Test Score International English Language Testing System (IELTS) At least 6 for each of the 4 components Test of English as a Foreign Language internet-based Test (TOEFL iBT) At least 12 for listening, 13 for reading, 21 for writing and 18 for speaking Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) At least 50 for each of the 4 components Occupational English Test (OET) At least B for each of the 4 components Cambridge C1 Advanced test At least 169 in each of the 4 components
  21. If you are talking about the ANZSCO Occupation Ceiling numbers ... 2018/2019 numbers can be found here, along with a snapshot of where the invites stand. https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/working-in-australia/skillselect/occupation-ceilings I would imagine the 2019/2020 numbers would come out after the election, and closer to the end of the migration year/start of the next (End June 30, 2019, start next July 1, 2019). If you are talking about the TOTAL number of invites they cap it at, the planning levels, once again we have to wait until at least after the election, if not closer to the year end. Although I believe recent sentiments from ScoMo suggest the expected invites will come down from 189k to 160k.
