189 visa - points for Early Childhood Teacher
Areyousure replied to TeacherSkel's topic in Working and Skilled Visas
Yes, I would give them a call/email and try to clarify on your situation. Might be worth getting an opinion from a migration agent who has experience in dealing with AITSL as well. All the best ?- 22 replies

189 visa - points for Early Childhood Teacher
Areyousure replied to TeacherSkel's topic in Working and Skilled Visas
Hey, im currently in the process of competing my pgce in education. I have done my teaching practice for 12 weeks in total teaching to kids aged between 3-5. Would AITSL be okay with this? Since it doesn’t state “early years” on my pgce but I would be able to get the letter from my university stating the age group I did my supervised teaching practice.- 22 replies

Do you want to live by the coast or live inland ? Wollongong is such a nice place and it is very close to Sydney. Loads of parks and fun activities for kids. And it got beautiful beaches and lakes. 8ADE55F6-E644-4B14-AAEE-AC633904D91B.mp4

Indonesian family planning to move between Melbourne or Perth
Areyousure replied to bonita megaputri's topic in Aussie Chat
Perth is much more closer to Jakarta than Melbourne, so that’s another point for Perth? As the other users have told, it depends a lot on your occupation and personal preferences as well. also if you are a citizen, Northern Territory is giving 15,000$ to families which move over there, so Darwin? Closest Australian city to Indonesia. -
AITSL PGCE Age Range Help Please?

You have misunderstood us, what I meant is a new state within the commonwealth. North Queensland breaking away from Queensland to form a new state. ?

AITSL PGCE Age Range Help Please?
Areyousure replied to TeacherSecondaryRed's topic in Working and Skilled Visas
I think you will be fine as long as you long as you have done 45 days of supervised teaching for students between the ages of 13-18. Try to get the Uni to mention the age group you had your teaching placement, as in 30 days for 11-13 years olds and 70 days for 13-18 years. Will you be claiming points for work experience as well? -
Northern Queenslanders should push for a referendum for a separate state. Should vote for parliamentarians who support the call for a separate state. Northern Queensland has a bigger population, Population growth, GDP and bigger cities than Tasmania or the Northern Territory but are underrepresented in Canberra.

Skilled migrants are wealthy skill wise too and most find it easier to intergrate much more easily into the society. I have nothing against asylum seekers, but they should be a a very small % of the skilled immigrant intake.

Okay, all the best ? hope you get your grant soon ?
-
Thank you ? I’m planning on applying as an Early childhood teacher. Should have 70 points when I apply. But zero work experience. Do we need to submit a cv for nsw state sponsorship?
-
Yep, hope I get it that fast as well. Haha. Did you have any work experience ?
-
What about Brisbane ?

It would be quite tough to get an invite with 65 points. Maybe try to do redo ielts and give ur score a boost? Or apply for 489, that would give u an additional 5 points.

How many points did you have? And how long did NSW take to send you an invite ?
-
Just give it some time, during the meantime think of other ways you can boost your points. Redoing Ielts? You should get an invite soon, hopefully.
