I don't think you can get a visa revoked for not getting on with your spouse. All sounds very unpleasant. I think you need to consult your lawyer with this one rather rely on replies from an internet forum

I'd look at Rosalie and Paddington. Good places to go out, nice areas, and close to Milton. Expensive but maybe you won't notice coming from Sydney

If you google the ATO site it gives the tax rates there. Insurance for what?

The visa is linked electronically to your passport these days. You can check your visa status at VEVO. -
190 visa granted today!!! What happens now?

Many congratulations!!! If you're already in Oz you don't need to do anything. If outside then you have a certain time period to enter Oz to validate your visa (12 months from medical or police check whichever is shorter I think but happy to be corrected on this.....). Cheers -
Yes or a SIM from another provider

Agreed. I live in Brisbane with wife and 2 kids and would be able to live comfortably on 100k

Your call. Good luck ?

I see what your saying however the migration system is currently undergoing major changes with many occupations being taken off the list often without rhyme or reason. Personally I wouldn't mess around if a door is open now to get in. Maybe discuss with an agent to see what they think. Cheers.

If you have the cash and a route to permanent residency is currently available now then I wouldn't delay the application. Occupation lists change all the time and a pathway that is available now may not be available in 12 months time. Probably best as advised earlier to contact one of the recommend agents. Good luck!

If you want to live in Brisbane there is a train service to Caboolture. Might be an option but it's still a long commute though

I wouldn't worry about the snakes. I've seen quite a few in my area but to be honest they seem more afraid of us. If you see one you can just call the local snake catcher to get rid of them. You just get used to this stuff after a while. I used to hate the huge Huntsman spiders but now I can happily remove them from the house myself. Personally the creatures I find the most annoying are the mossies! Regarding the climate Brisbane summers are hot and sticky and stormy but the other seasons tend to have beautiful warm sunny days. Love the winters here! Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

Hi Depending on budget I would try to stay in South Bank. The campsite is in Newmarket.... It's nice but it's more of a residential area. If you don't mind the 15 min train journey to the city it's fine (and you won't have to pay to park your car if you decide to hire one). Stuff to do not mentioned by the others (depending on what you like doing) : - Lone pine koala sanctuary - Rock climbing on kangaroo point - Storey Bridge Climb If you go to gold coast hinterland I recommend the glow worm caves at Nateral Bridge. Its free and depending on the time of year you can see fireflies also. Good luck and enjoy!

I've never had any problems with transferwise- always been really easy to use . I've also used MoneyCorp and HiFx which have also been great - just go with the one which offers the best rates

Can't they just email the grant letter to you again? I can't think of a reason why they wouldn't do that.

The 3 month tourist visa doesn't cost anything if you apply directly from the government website
