Try to get bulk head seats I just flew with 3 children 8,4 and 1, and the more room really helped although my way back was dreadful as we didn't have bulkhead seats,when we fly out I'm paying the extra for the bulk head ones!

I also have been sent the same today so now we are Applying for jobs, I understand the unsettling feeling as we are too feeling that also with 3 children 8,4 and 1. Hi, my husband is looking in the perth area for a steel erection which is permanent,not looking for sponsorship as will be under a 457 Labour agreement with a recruitment agency,will send anyone interested his CV and references at request vetassess has been done already,we are ready to come out!

I payed £420 to worldwide recruit for a vetassess that they sent off but we signed. We have had identical messages sent to us as have another person going through them, this was payed for on the 16th October ,should I be worried as we are getting no clear response

Hi, yes we did I think about 10 weeks ago now although we're still not sure what's going on with it. We payed for a vet assess to We done through them and was told to expect to be in oz by end of jan beginning of feb but we have no clue what's going on,we have emailed a few times asking about the progress but not really getting a reply as such. So we now have a new problem as my husband has sold most of his business tools as we expected to be leaving not long after the new year. Have you got any experience In this?

What are you doing once in oz with health insurance? We had a quote from bupa, but thought sticking with them was a god idea money wise,is there another option which is cheaper once your there?

There are some good areas,some pricey some not so pricey. In my opinion with all the months and months of research I've done is for your money you will get a better property from about rocking ham down,especially secret harbour way. Further up it gets much more pricey if you want to be close close to the beach. Rate my school is a good website for schooling as this is probably quite high on your list of priorities,get the job area then choose from there but research never hurt anyone,good luck

My dad was 44 when he backpacked the east coast,he wasn't a drinker either,you move all the time and meet so many great people,do the things you want to do and have fun and explore oz! Have fun!

Im so glad you made the decision that was right for you,Although after reading all comments im a little worried myself,we move out at the end of Jan to Perth and i really feel fine with leaving,ive lost both of my parents as a child and have no close family that im leaving apart from my grandmother so i feel confident i will be fine,but its a worry to think that people do really struggle with life away. I have hopes for myself and family and would hate for me to struggle,i mean how would anyone know until they are there and living in Australia? Did you feel like this may of been an issue before you left??? Im worried about the flights but thats it really,im looking forward to making friends, getting a new home,but did you feel the same were you more than happy to leave?

Hi, Were going for a labour sponsored 457,weve been asked to provide evidence of medical insurance,but its not something weve properly looked into,can someone recommend the best way and who to go with?Thanks

my husband has done just that and all i can say is that is very hard,1 week is defo not enough time,they are more relaxed and slower paced my husband found the waitting around unbearable he went for 17 days. he thought he secured a job done trial work for 3 days unpaid come back to UK only to be pretty much blanked even though they were over the moon with his work. maybe be best to hit it hard when you get there?

my husband has just returned from oz and flew with emirates and he loved the plane, the staff were great,seating was nice,food good,the plane was so silent when travelling and even taking off,i would recomend them

Your never believe it but another member on poms on oz is using them too right now,im sure they will update on this thread

it has a MARA number on there site and the womens details are of a real women who is a real agent

they give us detailed things that as the agent they would do, over the phone we spoke and spoke for ages since march, and decided on going for a 457 so they said they would take care of this for us,they said about finding a sponsor and so on, we payed £1,300 3 weeks ago after saving for a while and they have done nothing apart from today ask for another £1,300, we said no because we couldnt see anything they had done as of yet,but as far as a 457 goes nothing can be done untill we get sponsored which we still have not got! The emails and conversations were very real,they had lots of addresses and phone numbers and email addresses and had a service for everything, we thought we had paid for something worth while,help with location housing a sponsor and so on. I feel pretty stupid as now ive researched the company ive seen alerts and warnings on the company,its apparently in new zealand and they have a registered migration agents details on it, so not sure if shes in on it which i doubt so ive contacted her by email to ask?

We are quite gutted as today we finally realised we had been scammed for over a grand y a posing migration company. They looked and acted legit,paper work looked legit too,anyone else been stung??? :em4600:
