  1. Hello Guys, I have had a chat to a recruitment agency who have mentioned that that could sponsor us on a 457 and basically hire us out. What if any are the bad points on this, is this a good idea, does it effect wages? Thanks
  2. Its good to hear that British people will be around but even better to hear it wont be like Britain Surfing for the kids is what i have in mind,i have 3 although still quite young my eldest i would love him to embrace the surfing beach life. I myself have never been to Perth but have been over the east side and travelled from top to bottom 10 years ago! I have always wanted to go back, i did love the beach, the sea, the nature, the bbqs lol, and the fishing was a major plus! I really loved it,i cannot wait to move,my husband is there right now securing a job so we should be going pretty soon on 457, the only reason secret harbour has caught my attention more than most is a few factors, the cost of rent its perfect for us a 4 bed house so close to the ocean for $400 or under, seen it many many times. The beach from what ive seen and read seems lovely too, although i believe theres no school so maybe the car will need to be used but id love to walk or bike with them. People always compare, but i dont people always ask me about the cost of living as in shopping but i speak from research but always point out that comparing the pound to anywhere is a silly thing to do as the pound is so low at the moment and then it always looks so expensive, which i find the living in perth may be but then the money we would save on other things like cinema ect. I have no ideas of being rich or well off,far from it,i dont want a pool either i want a better life for me and my family, more job opportunities which the UK can not supply, better weather and that is quite important to me,being stuck in in the cold weather is depressing thats also another reason why we choose Perth. I personally cannot wait! Whats up with the sausages then??? lol
  3. We have decided on perth and have looked at shoalwater and secret harbour as the possible job offer is in henderson,so not so far. Although im not wanting to emigrate because im getting away from the english but i am hoping to be around aussies, live like aussies and fit right in. Will these areas take away the aussie way? I like english people of course i am one we all know how we work and act but i do feel like if we move to a highly british area we may miss out on the aussie way of life? This is just a wonder? Could australia in time turn a tad british??
  4. My goodness,im so pleased for you, so does it take a long to get all the forms together? The thing is my husband leaves perth on friday and is doing trial work right now but the employer seems pleased but im worried he will leave oz and it may get left by the employer,is it something they start together? Do you have to wait for lots of paperwork to get through the post fill and out then send or is it through scanning and emails?
  5. It looks like our hard work has paid off and weve found an employer sponsor on a 457, but how exactly do they sponsor they are recognised sponsors so thats not a problem but is it online or paperwork? Can anyone explain the process, we do have an agent but the time differences are a problem alot of the time, plus do we need an agent for this visa???

  8. Hello I meant by this is that i have a work visa at present but my family are back in the UK so i can start work but would need to be sponsored quickly,i hope this makes sense. Ive had interviews and had 2 days trial although i dont think it will work out, this is the impression i get as they dont want to sponsor. Im in fremantle perth at the moment and looking for work in WA around the perth area, rockingham is the idea hopefully. I have my white card and really do want to make a good go of it but just wish i could find a sponsor who was serious. Thank You for your reply hope to hear from you soon
