Which state you applied for?? Better to give them a call and remind WA SS there is no update. I have done the same I called them and told them that I already signed and submitted the cotract and got the invitation but no DIAC,, They told me that due to high number of applicants we will do it in a few days to update in system and guess what; next day I received the update the invitation to apply for the visa

Hi Bala, One of the 190 applicant who submitted application on 07/01/2013 he already assigned the CO so proably you already have the CO but he may not need anything from you or may be you will be getting in a few more days. Dont worry. Cheers

Dont worry cause if your CO was in need of something else she must have asked for it. May be she missed the form 80 just forward it to her again and I think you are very close to get a grant. Forget about the status of documents as they are usually in-accurate. good Luck

Dear Yeong family, I just put whatever the CO may ask me to prove my paid work experience so dont worry what ever evidence you may provide its better. In short, getting the reference letter from ex-employer is enough to prove the work experience and that actually required but if you can easily provide other evidence that will ust make your case strong thats it. Dear Karen, I am working as a HR Manager by title but australian HR Manager assesment requirement for HR Manager are way high like several Managers reporting to HR Manager and that was not the case with me. The HR Advisor job responsibilites seems quite similar to that of a normal HR Manager so I give it a try and write what ever I was doing with the correct designation (HR Manager) and didnt minupulate anything as Vetassess assess that you job is almost same NOT EXACTLY same. So Vetassess accepted me as HR Advisor. It is not the matter of Job Title its the matter of what you are doing and if you are doing which closely match to what a HR advisor will be doing than I dont see any problem in that. For your information I submitted to experience letters as HR Manager one for 5 years and One for last one year in different company and have written the exactly the job description what I was and am doing. No need for adoptation required for my case. Anyway good luck

Dear Shaz, You are right the login details of skill select and evisa application are different and once you have applied for the visa the role of skill select is almost over. So for the medical you have to login on this site https://www.ecom.immi.gov.au/elp/app?login and once you are login you should press the medical link but it will not book the medical instead it will let you fill an online medical referal form with your particulars and you have to fill other details as well and in the end you have to take the printout of the referal form. In this referal form you can select the penal medical centers near your area of residence but you can only take a printout the medical will not automatically booked from this link. Once you took printout you can call the medical center and take the appointment and when you are there you have to take this printed referal form along with Passport, form 26 4 passport size photograph. (Please check with the medical center you have booked the appiontment for the requirement of the documents as it may vary place to place) Regards Fari

Dear Santhi, For this question I have written a explanation that I am chosing WA cause it have lot of jobs in my profession and I copied a lot of job portals links with those job advertised and given names of many companies who have advertised jobs matching my profile. Dear Slagozzz, There is no harm in cliking on the link and fill the medical referal form and take a printout and keep it with you. Once your CO will tell you to go for the medical then you dont have to wait fill the form and print out at that time cause sometimes that particular link doesnt work so be safe fill the form keep it ready. I think you are form HR country like me so its better to wait for the CO to ask for this. Good luck

I have 13+ years of experience in my field but I only claimed last 5 years for my EOI points which became 65 even with the 5 years experience. Reason for that was simple cause for the last 5 years I have the pay slips, bank statments showing my salay transfer, Employment certificate, Job responsibilites letter from HR department of my employer to prove my 5 years work experience. I didnt claim points for the experience other than that because it was in my home country and I only have the experience letters from those companies and nothing else then that means no pay slips, no bank statments etc. So my personal advice; if you are having 60 points with 5 years experience better to go with it (I dont think you have that option any more as you already have the EOI submitted and already claimed points for 8 years experience I think) but if you are having 60 points with 8 years experience than better to contact your previous employer to provide you the pay slips or statement from your employer's account department on the original letter head and with company seal stating your salaries for those particular time perieod was that much or account statment from bank to prove that the salary was transfered from company into your account. (you have to prove what you have claimed in your EOI) You have asked that 5 years record will be substantial; I think it all depend on your CO he may ask you to provide the concrete evidence (which I think they want) or you may write an undertaking stating what is the reason you can not provide the evidence for those 3 years. It all depends upon your CO. All above is my personal advice to give my view and advice to you and I am not the subject matter expert and its really good to take advice from a registered MARA agent.

Just for your information James, I have applied on 17th January and till now no movement.. Please just keep us updated as you have applied 10 days before me

Hi, If any state is sponsoring your 190 application that means they have jobs for you in their states otherwise you wont fid them on their list as well so better to go there and give a real try to find job in your profession in the sponsoring state and I think you will be able to find it. Jobs to find exactly matching your experience is definatly hard to find in early months of your arrival (thats all the experienced ppl say). If you have exhausted all the tries, I think you can talk to your state represntative and ask their permission to move to another state. From the state sponsorship form which I have signed for WA SS it seems its a legal understanding between me and the state that they are sponsoring my application because I am willing to live in WA for minimum 2 years so technically and ethically I will live in WA. Anyhow its my personal view better to take advice from a registered MARA agent or you can search other threads as I have seen this kind of queries so many times discussed. Good Luck

I think my expenses upto now are: Vetassess assessment: 750$ (Australian Dollars) Paper work for Vetassess: 200$ (including attestation of documents, courier charges for my university for verification etc) IELTS exam fees: 200$ IELTS prepration: 50$ (i bought used books and CDs to prepare) WA Sponsorshi[ fee: 200$ 190 visa fee: 3060$ The future expenses will be: My wife IELTS exams fees: 200$ and if she fails I have to pay around 4000$ before grant of visa for her english language classess. Medical Examination fees for me an my wife: 350$ Police Certificate for me & my wife: 100$ (from 2 countries) I hope this will give a good idea. good luck
