    Thanks guys, my occupation is motor mechanic , it took so long as my company had immigration audit from monitoring team. Slows everything right down!

    Yeah I work for a very large company and we have a lot of 457 workers. Thanks guys I hope it's sorted soon too!

    I am chilled bud, you asked me where I was at with my application so I was just letting you know, I've already come to terms with its not going to happen quick and of course it's going to change my life if I get PR or not, we've paid a lot of money and our life is here now. I don't want to be on a 457 forever. Luke 457 monitoring can be initiated through staff complaint however this is just random checks that are carried out every so often.

    Spoke with immigration today, my visa is scheduled to be looked at again next week but if my nom is outstanding still (due to 457 monitoring team) it will go back in the queue then looked at 28 days later and so on and so on until my nom comes through. My nom can't be finalised until 457 monitoring team are satisfied my company are meeting their obligations. No more paper work is required by them so hopefully they have nearly finished up.

    Right guys think I'm gonna be staying away until my company monitoring is all finished , I'm happy for everyone getting approved but it's sending me crazy at the same time ! Good luck everyone and speak soon! [emoji41]

    I'm assuming in June as that's when immi just kept on saying "nomination Is going through internal checks". How long did it take for your company to satisfy them? My HR manger said they have submitted everything that has been asked for.

    Monitoring /Audit , whatever I'm not getting hung up on it , just hope it doesn't delay us too long! I'm confident my company will pass with ease being a major employer.

    No I mean what I said, they are going through my company records etc, and they told me they are going through immigration audit. Their words not mine bud.

    Will probably probably hold things up a little, it's checking that my company has Been fulfilling its obligations etc! Very frustrating !

    So I finally got to the bottom of why it's taking so long, my company is going through a immigration audit at the moment
