Dear Seniors & Fellow members, I am planning to move to Perth in near future from Dubai. I have two kids one 5 years and one 2 months old. We have everything a home must have right now like sofa sets, dining table, LED TVs (2), Master bedroom set, Child bedroom set, washing machine etc. etc. Now if we want to get rid of them we will not get anything for that but if we want to move the things to Perth it is costing around AUS $ 5,500/-. What is your advice better to sell the belongings in almost free price and save 5,500 for new in Perth or better to ship it to Perth?

Dear Finnijo, My CO assigned was from Brisbane team 34 but later on she was transfered to team 31 Brisbane and her intials were "N" She was very excellent person and when ever I sent her email she replied me on the same day and always tried to help me.. I called her once on the phone and she talked to me very politely explained me my status very clearyly and in detail. For your visa grant; I can say you will get your grant on the 3rd day of your meds finalization. Wish you good luck

Dear Skydiver, I submitted both form 80 & form 1221 for me and my wife in the first place...the idea was to submitt all the documents what a CO can ask in the first place and look at my time line I was asked meds and PCC right away nothing more.. I recommed to upload for you and your wife both the forms to save time... Good luck

Dear Shaz What I come to know and understand that for skillselect visa system applicant (189 & 190 etc) only way to know about the case status is to go online on your visa application or check the status of progress through your CO. That link on DIAC website to check the progress seems to be for the old visa applicants (175, 176 etc) I think

Scan your color passport size photograph and upload that... Good luck

Dear Linsey, For the submission of documents; just scan all the original documents and other supporting documents and upload them on your visa application page ASAP. It may include scanned copy of your passport, all educational documents, job experience letters, job descriptions for the jobs you have done from companies you worked for, bank statements showing your salary tranfered to your account for the period you have claimed as your job experience, tax paper etc. For medicals i think you should wait for the CO to ask for it because CO will provide you a HRI number as the penal doctor will be able to access your online health section by this CO. Just start working for PCCs if you have several countries PCCs to provide but better to wait for CO to ask for the PCC. Yes you are right it is better to upload every document except PCC and Medicals which is advised to be submitted after CO request

Your agent can check it easily with your CO that your medicals are being referred or no... Push your agent to do so... I wish they didnt got referred as I come to know that current finalization of referred medicals are taking around 4 months time.. Good luck to you for your medicals and I have a feeling they are not going to referred so Cheers...

Dear Sky Diver, First of all I am not an expert or magician...but can try to help other based on my personal experience... Anyhow, what I understand from my experience is that once your CO has been alloted than the CO send email to you with the required documents list including the request for you to go for medical and in that particular mail the CO will provide you the HRI (Health request information) number from which the hospital/clinic performing the medicals will be able to reach your case on ehealth online... I beleive for getting this HRI number you have to wait for the CO to provide you that. In the meanwhile you should click on the health assessment link on ur visa application page and fill the referral form and other documents required. If your CI has already been assigned than ask him for the HRI.. Good Luck

Dear Shah, See my timeline and you will be having a good idea but in general 190 visa take around 6 months to be granted unless there is any unsual thing happens like medical referred, delayed security check or any other issue like I am having then it may take more time.

As far as the communication provided to me by my CO this the only thing she is waiting...

It all depends on your luck as the CO can be assigned within 1 week to 4 weeks...so Good luck...

Ohhh noo, So sorry to know that...but dont worry and start working on the other issues like getting knowledge of area you are going to live, how to open bank accout etc. There are so many things to cheer...look at my case; now I am waiting for my newborn passport and the passport department is telling that you will get the new passport in 4 months time as there is a technical problem in passport printing in my country.... Dear Kinni, Thanks for your words but surely my predictions are just prediction based on assumptions nothing else... First of all send an email to your CO to enquire about the medicals status and ask CO precisely about if your medicals are referred or no and usually the COs tell about it. Any way for the prediction even my self dont beleive on it :laugh:but i think you will get the grant by the end of March.... Good luck and keep me posted for your medicals after you get a reply and of course for more predictions

Dear Om, I am really shocked and sad to know that your visa got refused.... But one question bro that why didnt you uploaded the bank statement, tax and other documents in the first place??? as these doucments are very important to support the experience claims... Anyway, dont lose hope and talk to the WA officials on the phone and also start preparing your self for 190 application which usually dont take much time to process (may be 6 months) and you must be haveing already 95% of documents ready for it.. But please this time do not keep the supporting documents in drawers; scann them and send it to your CO and dont wait for your CO to ask... Feel free to ask for any help in filing 190 application..
