Dear Craig, I have asked my question before also but wa not able to get the precise answer as I didnt brought forward the full facts to you. I have Mitsubishi Pajero, GLX, 6 Cylinder 3.5 liter engine petrol, Automatic with full options with so many things. It is a Left hand drive as I am in UAE right now. The price for new vehicle when I bought it in August 2012 was equivalent to AUS$ 35k. The red book price for the same specification of car is AUS$ 74K ( I can have a range rover sports 2011 or lexsus 470 or any other highend vehicle in this amount in UAE as prices of vehicles seems more than double in OZ) that means almost double to UAE price. You told me before that converting this car to RHD will take about AUS$ 10k so If as a permanent residence who is moving to OZ if I spent even 10k on conversion it will cost me half of the price then OZ. Please also note that conversion to RHD is relatively cheaper in UAE around AUS$ 5k. What is your advice regarding converting it in UAE and bringing it to OZ or converting it in OZ but even with that I will be able to save around 20-30K. The other option that I buy a 2nd hand RHD car which are available for export in UAE but I think I must own that car for one year before I can imprort it to OZ? or there is any exception or options available for permanent residence moving in OZ for first time? I am insisting on bringing car from UAE because of very high prices of cars in OZ.

Dear Marina, I applied on 1st December and got the initial mail on 8th January, 9th January I receive the contract which i forwarded back after signature on the same day and then I receive the invitation to apply for visa on 15th January. I hope you will also be getting the the contract in a few more days and then the invitation. I think your process till invitation to apply for the visa will be complete by the month end. Dear Chris, I have done almost the same what you have asked. I am working as HR Manager from last 6 years but opted to apply as HR Advisor as the requirement for HR Manager Assessment was too high and I applied to vetassess as HR Advisor and got the positive assessment as HR Advisor. As the JDs of both are almost identical and Vetassess accepted on the basis of my job responsibilities which may be same for you as well. Good luck

Its value here (Dubai) is around 35,500/- AUD Proabably in Australia it will be around 60,000/- AUD 2) Toyota Prado 3 door (SWB) Model 2009 and its also full option with Air Con and others value in Dubai Around AUD 20,000/- and I dont know how much in Australia. I will try to bring either of them. Advise which one is better to bring and how much it cost approximately.

Dear Bubbe, Vetassess assessment is valid for 2 years. My skills were assessed positive on 21st November 2012 and its valid till 21st November 2012 and as far as my information is concerned, it does not make any difference if you are in Australia or out side Australia. It took around 8 week after submission to get it done. Cheers

Dear Nadeem, From your post it is quite evident that u have to do a lot of research on australian immigration governtment web site. Without that u will not be able to understand anything and will ask question after question on each step and if u r not willing to do that then its better to go to authorised migration agent as this forum's members are usually common people including me I think u need serious work out but i m sure all the answers to possible questions regarding immigration are present on web site as mentioned above. Just asking question without any research will definately will not help u. Please take it positive as immigration application is a serious issue and need serious effort

My name is Farhan and I am a prospective immigrant currently in Dubai from 2007 till date My Current situation is that I got positive assessment form vetasses for HR advisor, waiting for IELTS results due on 1st December 2012. I need seniors advice regarding claiming my work experience: I am working since 1999 and work experience is as follows: 1) 1999 to 2003 as HR Officer in Pakistan (Employement Certificate is present only) 2) 2003 to 2007 as HR Executive in Pakistan (Employment certificate with job description is present only) 3) 2007 to 2012 as HR Manager in Dubai (Employement certificate with JD is present and I can also ask for the pay slips, and can provide bank statement to show that my salary was transfered in the bank) 4) May 2012 till date HR Manager in Dubai (Employment Certificate with JD can be presented along with bank statment and slips) My main question is that since I am in Dubai right now it is really very hard to get any other documents from my first two companies as I am in different country, than HR records in Pakistan are not so well kept, third I can not provide banks statement as I have closed the account I was having in Pakistan 6 years back. 1) what is the best advice to claim the points? 2) is it all right to write my whole experience and claim eight years assuming that CO will accept the employment certificates only? as I will make 65 points with this> 3) Or just claim 5 years ( its around 5.5 years now) experience and how I can do that to claim only last 5 years experience? Please give your advice.
