Hi all, today we got our visa granted :biggrin: two days ago we sent e-mail to our case officer to ask about progress of our application. we submitted all requested documents and did our medicals but there was no change on our e_visa for three weeks. it looks like we reminded him to finish our case :wink: (brisbane team33, initials ES) :notworthy: wish you all good luck!!!

Hi, we got our invitation on January 17th and uploaded docs on January 25th Two weeks later we got our CO allocated and we done our medicals few days ago. Now we're waiting for approval. Wish you luck :biggrin:

Do you have 60 points with or without the State Nomination points? If you have 60 points without the SS all you need is to google where you have more job opportunities. Otherwise you can apply for SS where your occupation is listed as in demand...

Hi Phil, We applied for WA SS on 8th December, got nomination on 15th January and finally the invitation arrived on 16th January. I believe that choice of regions doesn't matter and also your reasons to move to Perth. From my point of view what really matters is your occupation, point score and liquid funds. Probably you will wait approximately 20-30 working days... M.

Hi fari, like you said, we got the nomination day after initial contact. And day after nomination/signing a contract we got our invitation!!! Now all we have to do is to upload documents and wait for grant. :biggrin:

Hi everyone, today we received initial contact on our Skill Select from WA Government. We applied for WA SS on 8th December. Our application has been assigned to a Case Officer... Does anybody know how much more time we need to wait for approval??? :arghh: Tnx

Hello everyone, has anybody received state nomination (190 visa) since December? We applied for state sponsorship on 8th December and got no answer since then (except the automatic confirmation of application. What is the time frame for receiving state nomination??

Hi everybody, my name is Marina and me and my boyfriend are working on a 489 visa. We are both architects and hope we could find a job in WA. We have got skills assessed, now we are working on a IELTS test. Hope we could get some advices where to search for a job when we arrive :wink: and also any other advices would be useful. We are thinking about moving to Mandurah.
