Hi Annagilda, If you don't mind asking, are you located in Far North Queensland. My nephew lives nearby Atherton which is an hours drive from Cairns. He is eligible to apply for citizenship in May 2022, however he wanted to move from QLD to NSW. I told him he will get citizenship quicker if he applies from there rather than applying from Sydney where he wants to move.

Diploma of Nursing is 12-18 months course and in some states its 24 months course.

Degree in nursing is required to work as a registered nurse and diploma of nursing holders can work as an Enrolled Nurse (EN). You can't apply for 189 visa if you are EN but some states sponsor EN so it's possible to apply for 190 visa.

Why don't you try PTE Academic much easier than IELTS....

I may be wrong but checked the link you have provided and found there are two types Contributory Aged Parent (Migrant) visa (subclass 864) Contributory Aged Parent (Temporary) visa (subclass 884) & Contributory Parent (Migrant) visa (subclass 143) Contributory Parent (Temporary) visa (subclass 173). And age requirement is not applicable to both types. Age requirements The primary applicant must satisfy the aged requirement for both Contributory Aged Parent (Residence) visa (subclass 864) or Contributory Aged Parent (Temporary) visa (subclass 884) applications. An 'aged' parent is one who is old enough to be granted the Australian aged pension.

It must be special ceremony arranged by DIBP. I am from Blacktown council and attended special ceremony at Sydney Olympic Park arranged by DIBP on 7th of this month. Around 800-1000 people were there including guests. As there were many guests with people so can't tell you how many people were actually came to attend ceremony. There were few more ceremonies arranged this month and next month. For northern suburbs ceremony is I think at University of Technology's Ultimo campus. Thanks...

Thanks Wrussell his diploma in Enrolled Nursing is perquisite for the graduate Nursing course however he will complete graduate Nursing in December 2019. And I want him to apply for 190 visa based on Enrolled Nursing qualification. Anyways it will depend if NSW will continue sponsoring Enrolled Nurses (190 visa) in next year as well. Hi guys, appreciate advice on requirement of Australian education. I know that 2 years full time study is required. My nephew is currently studying Enrolled nursing at Tafe as an international student. He has also enrolled for graduate nursing (2 years for enrolled nurses rather than 3 years) which will start immediately after completion of enrolled nursing. He started enrolled nuring in September 2016 and will finish course in December 2017 and will start 2nd year graduate nuring in February 2018. His enrolled nursing course is actually one and half years course but at some tafe campuses it started in July but at my nephews campus it started in Septemeber. If he wants 5 points for Australian education can he consider Tafe diploma (actual duration one and half years) and first six months study towards graduate nursing study or he can't consider six months study towards graudate nursing as he will get degree only after completing 2 year course. There are other alternative options for IELTS. Another test PET Academic is also acceptable for registration and which is much much easier than IELTS. For PTE Academic you need 65 in all 4 categories. Also recently they allowed two sittings in 6 months with specific minimum score requirement.
