We've been really busy these last few weeks as my sister and BIL and nephew are staying with us. We've been to The Whitsundays with them and really enjoyed having them here. They go home on Saturday and then 2 weeks after that my oldest pal and her hubby come to stay! So it's all go in the Sykes household lol. <p>Hi Bob, hope you are well! I was wondering if you might be able to help with my question. On 6 August we are doing a road trip up to Airlie Beach as you know. We are stopping off at Yeppoon and Bargara on the way, then Yeppoon and Hervey bay on the way back down. Do you think as it's still very early in the whale watching season, that we would be able to get 7 of us on a trip fairly easily once we get there or would you advise booking it now instead? And are there any other things you think are must-sees on our route? We are so looking forward to seeing more of Australia! Thanks for any advice, Sue xxx</p>

<p>Hi Connaust I wonder if you might be able to offer me any advice. I've been in Oz for 16 months and desperately want to retrain, I've decided on a beauty diploma because I have access to my friend's hairdressing clients as a base to start from. Trouble us, it costs over $11,000 to do. As we're still establishing ourselves here, we just haven't got that sort of money lying around and I wondered if you could advise me on where to seek out the best/most competitive repayment options around - the course provider is government approved and full time. I know I can't get any financial assistance yet, as I understand I'd have to have been in Oz and unemployed for at least 2 years to qualify for a grant of any kind, I think. Any advice would be very much appreciated. Sue</p>

We sailed all the way from Bribie to Moreton Island over the weekend in our itsy bisty boat - we had to wait for the perfect weather and tide conditions but it was so worth it, was sick of seeing it in the distance from the beach at Bribie!!
