Guest bingo Posted October 28, 2011 Share Posted October 28, 2011 hi lebourvellec, no my docs are all saying required still even though agent must of sent em bcus ya carnt lodge ya visa without it on all the list of docs though nowhere does it mention pcc i can c everything else ielts, birth certs ect then on the other page it says health requirements chest xray meds hiv test but nothing that says pcc ive dun them anyway but not me meds i dont mind going for me meds but id rather b told to go first but i dont think the agent knows wat shes doing meself not very happy with em really they havent really done anything for their money has yet only uploaded paperwork to ahc well we cud of dun that cus we filled it in and uploaded to agent so ill c next week how it goes xx thanks for reply xx Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You could always your agent to see the attachments that your CO emailed. You application must be ok before they were asking for more docs, once that the additional docs are ok, then they will ask for medicals, but if you have already done your PCC getting your medicals shoud be ok, as your validation date will be the earliest date of your PCC, thats why most people hold off to get until CO asks. Tea4two Posted October 28, 2011 Share Posted October 28, 2011 hi all, for those who havent used a agent , do you get a email when it tells u go for meds or does it just tell u in the message part on the status check page , im a bit confused with my agent she said when i got a case officer the co requested further docs which i uploaded to my agent and sent and she said go and get ya meds done i was booked for meds the other day but had to cancel till the 15th nov cus of me lad being poorly, ive spoke to my agent today and she said she hasnt heard back from AHC about me docs what were sent but asked me if id booked meds due to the message wat it says on the status page under meds it says applicant/dependants required to go and get medicals done if havent already done so for the purpose of this application so my agent is saying she thinks it means go and get meds done so that must mean to me that docs r ok or they wudnt of put applicant required to go and do medicals if havent already done so , not very happy at the fact the agent says she thinks it means this wat i was wondering is it just a standard message or r they requesting them? the agent has had no email about it she is just telling me wat it says in the message box which i already new cus i checked meself and i thought it was standard and i had to wait for agent get a email . Hey Bingo, Mine says exactly the same so don't worry. I too thought it was strange as at the start of the application or on DIAC guidelines it says don't do them till requested...but when I finished the application it said meds and police checks were outstanding. I have booked them for Monday anyway and the clinic said I was on their health system records as I had downloaded the health forms on the document list page. But this defo doesn't mean the application is being looked at as it said this right from when I finished applying and none of my other status's have changed. I think it's a bit worrying though when the agent says 'she thinks' because I know they can't know everything but you pay for advice And this is something that must happen every time they apply on behalf of a customer? On the document checklist all the docs are still saying required. We have sent off for our PCC but gonna wait to be contacted by CO before getting medicals. Amanda (Manchester) Hi we lodged the 7th, now I asked my agent for info so I could look on line, she told me not to get too obsessed with the doc's required bit she told me that sometimes it can show things as being required up to the visa grant!! Thanks for all the advice guys - I had already uploaded Form 80 and 1221 for both myself and my husband, and on your advice added 12 months payslips and 2 P60s. I'm just wondering how long it is taking after meds are finalised? I've had a slight issue with my meds (found a heart murmur) so I've been referred to a specialist to give me the all clear but I suppose that could take at least a few weeks :mad:. That is all that is standing between us and our visa now though so I'm just curious how long it may be before it is granted after that is sorted. Sorry to here about you heart murmur I believe we have had no visa grants on this thread yet, the end of september guys have just got confirmation that they have CO's. Cheers We did our medicals on 7/10, my OH were finalised on the 14/10, our daughter 17/10, mine were refered on the 17/10 and finalised on the 19/10. We uploaded our last PC late in the evening on 25/10, so received by CO on the 26/10. Visas granted on 27/10. We emailed him to on the 24/10 to say we were still waiting on the Australian Police Check to come back as our 28 days finished on the 25th, and emailed him again once it had been uploaded, just so he would see that it had been attached.
