Chardy
Well, meds went well, the staff at Maidenhead were friendly and very considerate of the fact we have 3 kids. Got there half an hour early at the Coachhouse building and they got our passports copied and checked we were on E health straightaway then took all our photos followed by the 2 adult chest xrays (topless!). Then we went over to the other building to do our urine samples, weight, height, eye test and blood pressure. Then we were in to see the doctor for a down to undies check on abdomen, thyroid glands, groin check for me and my boy, underarms, check of the eyes, ears and throat and finally reflexes. A couple of questions and that's it done. Then it was off back downstairs for blood taking for HIV test and the painful bit of parting with £655 ! All in all 2 and half hours. They have kids toys and books in every waiting area and the kids ran amok Just have to wait for HOC to update DIAC now ! Justin:wink:

Guest gcathya
Hello everyone! Even though I don't write too often, I have been always reading your comments and you help me with your experience to never lose faith and be patient. I am sooooo happy today because I got my Visa Granted!!!!! yupiiiiiii!!! and the best part that my visa was granted without being contacted by my CO until today that my visa was granted. My documents never change the status of "required". Good luck to all of you!! and I hope we can meet some day in Australia. I'll be heading to Perth on January 2012!!! It was down to underwear (including bra) for the full body exam but he gave me a sheet to cover me (the boys were down to undies). It was quiet amusing though as because I'm 40, he had to give me a breast exam so I had to take my bra off then anyway! The only questions he asked was about any serious conditions or whether we were seeing specialists about anything. I was really worried about it but it was fine. If you are going to the same clinic you won't need passport photos but not sure about any others. Doctor just checked about any existing conditions treatments and that was it. Dont't worry too much about it !:hug:
