Hi Tasha, feel quite annoyed this morning because the Visa Bureau had all this information months ago so why didn't it get sent all together knowing that it would be required, we would have S.S. by now. Less stress and phone calls to Oz, I know we are only days away but it just makes hard work of it all. Anyway have e-mailed agent but may also give him a ring before I go off to work just to make sure that he gets on with it. Hey you have every right to have a whinge on here... let is all out is what I say!

 

I fully understand how you are feeling... I waited patiently for 3 weeks thinking they had my paperwork. I copied my agent on it too and he received it no problems, but when I phoned QLD 3 weeks later they told me it had not been received in their office! I was gutted, that time could have meant all the difference between us getting a CO before the Sept changes!

 

So I can understand your frustration, but just be aware it may not be the fault of the agent, although they should have checked it arrived perhaps after they did not get an acknowledgement for the documents.

 

Best of luck hun, its not far away now.

Hi again Tasha, have just spoke to agent who said that he had confirmation that documents were recieved on 9th, so he is e-mailing them again today to see what is happening, probably won't hear anything till at least tommorow know. I dont know who your client contacted in our office but I recommended nomination for your clients application and it is currently with manager for a final decision. Unless he overturns my recommendation, which can take place, your clients application will be finalised by the end of this week.:biggrin:

Hi Jason , yes cat5, Paul is a tradie, fiberous plasterer, but theres a lot of talk on PIO that if tradies jobs are on the new list that they may become Cat2, don't know how true this is. Perhaps this is wishfull thinking:biggrin: but surely the States must do something to push them up the queue, only time will tell:skeptical:Lesley

Just wondering if anyone else on our list has heard anything from QLD. The next waiting to hear now are; Hallyobrien, Mandymark, Tucs, damson blue boy & Kris. I have sent PM to these people but they don't seem to using PiO much lately, so we may never actually hear back!

 

Soon it will be time to close this thread and concentrate on the next queue and thread... it will be a sad moment when we have to finish this thread, but at the same time it will be good news that we have all finally moved our way up the queue, even if its only a little way up!
