Hi, So are you going on an evisitor in October? We applied on 31December and have already booked flights for October 14th on an evisitor. That will put us at 9.5 months. Weve already told our CO and he replied that the 309 may well be granted by then but he cant promise. Failing this, we will fly to NZ once we hear that the visa is about to be granted.

 

We'll most likely be doing the same later this year as our flights are booked for October which is around our 9 month mark. Hopefully they keep granting them around the 9 months and don't push it back to around the 12/14 month mark. I'm going to let our CO know a little closer to the time, may speed up the process a bit  but we'll be flying out to New Zealand for a few days too once it's about to be granted.

lol! Hopefully I will become distracted by selling our house and all the other bits that come with moving to the Southern Hemisphere! Not that we've even dared start down that track yet! Thankfully we aren't in a complete rush but my hubby is looking forward to going home after what will be 9 years in the UK!

SOOOO I'm another lucky person today too….. i got quoted 10-14 months and i just got my 309 visa grant notice!! 8.5 months! i can't believe it. Il still be leaving in august but I'm so surprised it came through this early. good luck to everyone still waiting. :cute:

Did you ring the help line or your CO? Its much better to email and nudge politely your CO. Calling general enquiries wont do anything to push the grant through.

I can't contact my CO, but I asked the helpline to check everything was ok with my case and ensure they weren't waiting on any more info, which they said there's no more info required just said it's still processing.

Your CO,s email is the same as the original notification you recieved when you were appointed to one, if you use this and state your file number as reference he or she will receive it.

Thanks bronyaur, I've emailed a reply to the first email I received from my CO, but it's just the standard email address you send documents to. Do you have a direct email for your CO?
