Hi everyone
I need urgent help please. I applied RCB and Nomination DE nsw 11 july 2017. Received RCB after few weeks and Nomination last december but still couldn't lodge my visa application due to many problems. 15 june will be 6 months of my nomination. My agent says he's waiting for the final confirmation of my RCB as the old one is already expired. I'm scared whether he can lodge my visa application within 15 june but my MA says we can apply for the visa even after 6 months of nomination and not to worry. I'm not sure whether it's true or not. Please suggest.

What  is ur occupation mate?

Position: Childcare lead educator

State:ACT

Onshore

RCB: Approved

Nomination: Applied on 15th March,  2017

Visa : Applied on 30th Jan, 2018

Still waiting and they haven't even opened my folder yet.. It's been15 months since we've applied for nomination.. This frustrates the hell out of me. I wouldn't give a crap, if I don't have to pay full year school fees for my son like some other states ?..

Hoping for the best!! ?

Please someone give me a clue.

Suppose I apply rcb and nomination today, receive my rcb after few weeks and nomination let's say after 1 year. If I want to lodge my visa application after receiving the nomination, will I need to get a new rcb as the old rcb would be expired by that time(rcb is valid for 3 months I guess).

One more question, for how long the nomination is valid?

Medicare doesn't cover baby costs. Requirement of my visa is private health care?

Yes, if you are on the bridging visa waiting for your 187 Medicare cover baby costs.

I've asked the migration agent and called immi. You have all rights any permanent would have in terms of Medicare while in the brigding visa.

The only thing you don't get it's the financial support by the Government once your baby is born... that's all.

We are almost on the exact same timeline, and your story sounds similar to mine although I'm not pregnant...... yet! Here's hoping for good news. Where abouts in Oz are you?

Hi there...

So regarding your salary, it's very important that you provide immi proof that there are other people on the same position as you earning the same salary or below.

If your salary is before, than ask your employer to increase it, otherwise you could have problems.

You can find it online on Seek job advertisements or on Payscale Australia.

In terms of timeline... I've met the deadline many, many times and my process wasn't open either, so don;t feel frustrated for getting closer to the 17th month deadline...probably the outcome would have been the same as it's now. I'm completing 24 months now... and waiting.

Yes, the waiting can drive you crazy... my advise is to go on with life, without leaving your job of course.

Focus on things that make you feel happier and calmer... you will get through it.

IS YOUR  NOMINATION APPROVED?

FYI There is no validity of rcb.

Is there anybody applied for RSMS with 3 steps altogether?. I applied RSMS on 26/02/2018 and my agent told me that it is possible to lodge visa application directly together with RCB and Nomination steps. It has been three months and I haven't heard any news from RCB approval or not.

Anybody know this case?

Thanks

Hi,

Does immigration visit every company that does Visa Sponsorship ie 187 DE visa?

When do they most usually visit and do they only do it with certain occupation?

Hell yes... Literally, the processing time increases every month. Well, my migration agent says the processing time starts since the day they acknowledge the docs at the time occupation nomination. Who knows??

That's weird, did your agent contact RCB? Mine took like 1 month then my agent called RCB, my case officer is on holiday at that time. I have RCB 3 days later. I think the processing time for RCB is on their website.

And I feel you guys, when I applied the time is 12-15, then 15-17, 17-19, 19-21, 21-23 it keeps increasing. I won't be surprise if the processing time is 48 months.

I think it must decrease maybe after 2016-2017 files are cleared because I don’t think a lot of people will apply after policy changed...if someone was with 3 years experience that means they have had qualification 3 years ago...they should have already applied before. My MA said so...hopefully it will become true!

Love you all!

You need to do job ready programs please https://www.tradesrecognitionaustralia.gov.au/ please talk to them if you can not do by yourself also you can speak to Pathway to Aus consultancy they specialist with job ready program please google it for their contact. 3 years part time experience doesn’t count. Job ready programs is one year full time experience programswhich is lead to get full skill Assessment. You are eligible to apply this programs with 187 bridging visa or 485 temporary graduate visa. Hopefully this helps for you.

Yes sir, my agent applied RCB, then Nomination and Visa at the same time, on the 5th of July 2016. After 3 weeks, more or less, the RCB has been approved. I knew it only because my migrant agent sent me an email with the approved document attached.

Haha aren't we all though?! In saying that after 15 months of waiting I'm sure we have the right to be feeling a little impatient! It's difficult isn't it, especially when people say "think of the bigger picture" yes I understand that but the bigger picture is full of debt, set backs and increased waiting times from our point of view haha!

Do you have an MA? Speak to them about your concerns. After feeling like I was a nuisance to mine, he really pulled through yesterday and emailed back saying that asking questions is what they are there for and not too take too much advice from forums as each case is different. It's great hearing other people's perspective but unfortunately visas aren't black and white so it can get very overwhelming and confusing with all the different info and opinions. This was part of my update from my MA:

Once your visa is granted you are required to stay in the State for 2 years, not with your employer.  if you leave your employer to take up better opportunities but stay in WA you wont lose your visa.

Im going to trust his word as he is the registered MA out of the two of us, and he handled my application so knows it better than I do!

I hope things at work get better and your prospective family plans fall in to place ?

Agreed. I was also once under the impression that I needed to stay with the same employer once my visa gets approved. I spoke to my MA the other day and he had said that I do not need to be with the same employer for the next 2 years. I just need to be in WA regional area and everything will be fine.

Is this for the 187 DE visa?

The Minister may cancel a regional sponsored employment visa held by a person if:

                     (a)  the Minister is satisfied that:

                              (i)  the person commenced the employment referred to in the relevant employer nomination(whether or not within the period prescribed by the regulations); and

(ii)  the employment terminated within the period (the required employment period ) of 2 years starting on the day the person commenced that employment; and

                     (b)  the person does not satisfy the Minister that he or she has made a genuine effort to be engaged in that employment for the required employment period.

Yes, 187 DE.

Don't take our words for it though. Ask your MA about these stuff. You may think you are asking too much but at the end of the day they are the only people who can answer our complicated questions and the only words we should trust. I used to be paranoid but then my MA has advise to never be reluctant to ask him anything for that is why they are here for to help us out and to give us confidence. ?
