  1. Hi there... So regarding your salary, it's very important that you provide immi proof that there are other people on the same position as you earning the same salary or below. If your salary is before, than ask your employer to increase it, otherwise you could have problems. You can find it online on Seek job advertisements or on Payscale Australia. In terms of timeline... I've met the deadline many, many times and my process wasn't open either, so don;t feel frustrated for getting closer to the 17th month deadline...probably the outcome would have been the same as it's now. I'm completing 24 months now... and waiting. Yes, the waiting can drive you crazy... my advise is to go on with life, without leaving your job of course. Focus on things that make you feel happier and calmer... you will get through it.
  2. The only thing you don't get it's the financial support by the Government once your baby is born... that's all.
  3. Yes, if you are on the bridging visa waiting for your 187 Medicare cover baby costs. I've asked the migration agent and called immi. You have all rights any permanent would have in terms of Medicare while in the brigding visa.
  4. I'm 32 and also want to start a family, and my job is the biggest challenge I've had in my life. My advise is: don't wait. In a bridging visa you have Medicare and even if your visa is denied (hopefully not!), but you would still being able to apply for review and it would take another year or two, so plenty of time to have a baby while on Medicare. ? If you approval comes soon, great. If not, at least you are investing in another dream. I know it sounds bul.. but keep it positive and get busy with things you enjoy. It will be worth it.
  5. Same boat here! RCB approved in May 2016 Nomi, visa applocation in June 2016 Perth Marketing Specialist No news... no case officer. Just waiting... ?
  6. Do you work on weekends as well? What about going to the beach, finding a hobby, some activity that will help you get through the process? My husband got really depressed and I don't wish it to anyone... he just got better after engaging in some sports. No, I'm still waiting... 23 months. ?
  7. Its hard but try to make the most of your waiting time... get busy, travel, do things you enjoy. When I applied, the deadline was max 6 months, then 10 months..then 12 months, then 16 months...etc etc. It's been 23 months and only on the last 5 months I started to enjoy life. Don't make the same mistake. ?
  8. I'm not sure if I understand your question... but if you're asking about processing time, I've applied for Marketing in June 2016. No updates so far.
  9. Hi guys, just curious.... Is there anyone here waiting for more than 24 months, regardless the position??? I've been waiting for almost 22 months now...
  10. Hi Petra, I've applied 187 direct entry/ marketing specialist in June 2016. No news so far. I wouldn't be calling the immi as it's a waste of time... I've called sooo many times and they are helpless. Just keep your documentation up to date on the portal... when you see that something is about to expire, like a police check, etc, just do a new one and upload it. Unfortunately, you are not entitle to some Government support while on bridging visa. I guess that includes financial help for the kids. =/ Hang in there...
  11. That's a hard one, but if your visa is granted I would think that it means that you're resident, therefore you could work part-time...as many Australians do. It is just my opinion, I don't have legal base on this. =) Call the Immi and ask them. =)
  12. HI guys, just wondering... Is there anyone else waiting since Jun 2016? I've applied both Nomination and Visa at the same time with already RCB approved in 30 Jun 2016. Position: Marketing Specialist (marketing officer) Local: Perth / WA Company: + 25 million turnover and have sponsored two people before Docs: All documents have been updated, including police check and company financial details. I've called and all they say is that there is no case officer on my process yet, but that they have received it. I'm not freaking out anymore (I'm over it, thanks God), but very tired of the waiting.
