We have now provided updated documents for both applications (nomination and visa) as requested from the CO, and now we wait - agent expects at least a 4 week turn around. Something interesting that I had misunderstood. My nomination was approved on August 7th and I didn’t hear anything since. I'm going mad waiting for this visa to come through - anyone else's anxiety through the roof?? Have been with my employer for 3.5 years, I've been offered 2 internal promotions into partner business that I have had to turn down at the advice of my MA. My current employer does not treat me well (every day is a struggle) and I need out ASAP. Feel like throwing in the towel and heading back to the UK but maybe the visa is just around the corner and I've invested so much time and money!?! I cant stand the waiting and i'm only at 8 months ARGH. Someone mind updating the spreadsheet? Seems like a lot more people are being approved the last two weeks? Had hoped to have it by Christmas but think that is wishful thinking! I hate that me staying in this job has both my future and my partners future riding on it. I've found it does help ease the anxiety caused by the uncertainty. I suppose its just good to find people who are in a similar situation. Anyone has this kind of experience before me if had and what was the response after visit could you please share your experience about this matter it will be much helpful for me.I am pasty-cook from Darwin NT.Nomination and visa apply 17/3/2017 Document requested on 3rd May 2018 related to nomination and visa from same case officer and submitted on 28/5/2018 .One of my colleague with same position and got his refusal in July 2018.He applied in June 2017 document requested for nomination and visa on 9/5/2018 from two different officer one for nomination and other belong to visa submitted on 4/6/2018 after 10 days he got his refusal and reason was didn’t provide citizen details of employee in bench mark training. Madtig Posted September 13, 2018 Share Posted September 13, 2018 (edited) Hi All Its really tough and we all need empathy for each other in this group. Whilst we all may feel that our lives are on hold, I still hang onto the positive thought that once the visa is approved how life will not only change for me personally but for my family in the future. Living in Australia for the past five years has opened my mind to a world of possibilities and I guess now that I have tasted the mind blowing quality of life that Australia offers, my greatest fear is not being granted the honour of living in such a magnificent country. So I guess while this is hard to digest I will continue to live every the most amazing life I can in this country and try my hardest to put my mind at ease while we all endure this very stressful wait. In saying that, those of you in the group that have been waiting for (in some cases over two years) I feel your pain and this is just a shout out to us all to ask each other - R U Ok on R U OK day and remind each other that we should ask the same question of each other every day when we log in to this forum and our IMMI accounts to see if potentially our status has changed one way or the other.
