Hex
In regards to a 186 TRT that has been lodged for 7 months now, still in received state. Would it be worth calling the immigration offices to ask for an update, or am I wasting my time? I am using a MA, but also don't want to waste their time, if there's nothing they can do. - If so, what is the best number to use? I lodged on the 9th January 2018 (Software Developer). Any thoughts / ideas or suggestions? Thanks

When the visa was lodged, the wait was 8-9 months. It's currently at 7. Fair point. I am hearing people from January getting approved and getting excited of same -

Any thoughts / ideas or suggestions? Thanks I wouldn't. To be honest I think anyone that applied in 2018 that has received grants are extremely lucky. I'm in the same boat as you - mine was lodged in December 2017, there are people in this forum though that lodged as far back as 2016 that haven't heard back yet. As a guess though from what I've seen and heard in this forum and others, is that people receiving grants now tend to have lodged June-August 2017. 2
